I did just 5 days Mardi Himal trek which was less crowed and best views for mountains. My Guide Balaram was so kind and helpful. After doing some research online and my love for nature and mountains i decided to visit Nepal the second part of my vacation. I knew i wanted to do trekking but i had only limited time. After reading some reviews and info about the Mardi Himal trek i contacted Eco Holidays Nepal. Quickly i received a response with all the information i needed. Eco Holidays Nepal made some good suggestions to optimize may stay and offered me to make all the necessary arrangements (hotel, flight). After a small payment in advanced i received the message that everything was taking care of. The day i arrived in Kathmandu my plain was delayed 2 hours. I was bit worried about the pickup but when i left the airport Eco Holidays Nepal was waiting for me and gave me a warm welcome. We then drove to a beautiful hotel in Kathmandu center. Here we spoke about the details of the trek. After a good night sleep a taxi picked me up at 5:45 in the morning for the airport drop of. Then unfortunately my flight to Pokhara was delayed. My trekking guide was waiting for me in Pokhara. I called Eco Holidays Nepal to inform them about my delay. They told me not to worry, my guide and taxi driver will wait for me. When i arrived in Pokhara, i met my trekking guide and we drove for 1,5 hours to the start of the trek. After a cup of tea we started the hike. The first day we walked to a beautiful forest. Then the first views of the big mountains absolutely surprised me. The second day started in the forrest and after half a day the terrain opened up and we had amazing views. On the third day we left at 5 o clock in the morning for the Mardi Himal Basecamp. The views at the top where absolutely amazing. We where at the viewpoint just before sunset and the colors where so beautiful. Its like being in another world. The days after we hiked our way back down again thru these beautiful surroundings. During my 5 day hike my guide did such a great job. He took good care of me and told me interesting insights about the mountains, culture and life in Nepal. At every stop he assured that i was doing fine and arranged a good rooms for me overnight. Because this was my first hike with a guide and i was traveling alone i did not know what to expect. But i am so glad my guide joined me on my hike. It felt like i was traveling with friends instead of alone. Like going on an adventure together is more valuable than alone. The last night we celebrate successful finishing our hike with a dinner together at a local restaurant in Pokhara. - JJulia· December 3rd, 20195 Star Rating to the company that made my trip an exciting and entertaining trip. I was completely skeptical at first before booking my tickets to Nepal. I had to do my research and finally made up my mind to give it a shot and believe me it was worth the risk. Dhruba, owner of the company was kind enough to consider my solo trip and had me hooked up with a group that was en route on the same trek. This made things a bit easier and believe me when I say that it was a lot of fun. I enjoyed to the fullest. Although it was a tiresome session and at times I did felt the lack of oxygen but hey nothing risked, nothing gained. I made the entire trek and I would also like to thank our guide for being generous enough to let us rest when we were tired and for briefing us about the history of Nepal on the way. - MMohammedBari· October 24th, 2019Me and my Guide Sandesh did this trek October. The trek it self 5 days from Pokhara - Mardi Himal Base Camp - Pokhara. After all email with Eco Holidays Nepal, i decided to book this trek and i bought through by Tour Radar because its more secure and i got some saving point. Once i was in Pokhara , My Guide came to my Hotel for pick up me. After 1 hour drive , we started to walk with beautiful scenery. To been in Mardi Himal Base Camp it took 3 days and came back to Pokhara 2 days. It was so nice with wonderful scenery with great views of Himalaya.
