In a personal note, tour guides should have an etiquette list to share with the passengers. For example common things like stop talking when the tour guide is giving instructions. If there is a family together dont cut them in the lines to het in/out of the bus, be on time for department, be kind with other passengers when reclining your chairs, etc. These may seem common sense but sharing this will help everyone be aligned and make the experience great for everyone.Show more

- KHKathleen· May 2nd, 2024Be prepared to walk. The first and next to last day, you will be walking most of a 10 hour day, but you can get an Uber back to the hotel on your own. Eric was a terrific guide! Since you're always melding with other tour members in different countries, you also change guides. This tour had everything! We had 2 boat rides, a ferry across the English Channel, tour of a small castle, additional options along the way. Great food, along the way if you avoid the tourist traps, great local people and super amounts of things to do and see!! I have so many pictires!! We did things on the tour we wouldn't have known about on our own. The hotels were clean and mostly well equipped. Furniture was space in some rooms, but in the US, tables, chairs, beauros, etc are very common, but not in Europe. - JBJocelyn Sidamon· June 7th, 2023Day 1 in Rome - airport pick up is fine, pick up for the night is handled properly though it could have been better if the bus went in to the hotel grounds during pick up and drop off. It is a long walk from the hotel to the main gate or the main road. Hotel experience is great. Day two in Rome - there is no notice or communication on the assigned guide or the time of pick up at the Carpagne Palace Hotel though the other guide with the same itinerary for the day managed to get us on board her bus and her tour. It would have been nice if the fees related to the entry to Vatican had been provided beforehand. An indicative fee is fine. Also, I wonder why there is additional fee just to do the walking tour after the visit to Vatican. At the end of the day, there was no information provided on who is the assigned guide or time of pick up. We had to look for someone to connect us to Europa Mundo so that the next day ir planned which requires travel to France can be organized. There was also no message received at least from the hotel desk. Day 3 - Appreciated the insertion of the visit to the perfumery and Monte Carlo. Day 4 - Arrival in Marseilles - Very late since it was a challenge to find the hotel; I and the others were expecting to go around the city since it was the only hotel location located in the central part of the city. In general, all the hotels are located outside the city, it took time to find the hotel such as the hotel in Marseilles and Wembley; no time to explore the cities since hotels are located outside the city and arrival in hotels are generally very late, 10pm or later and shops and restaurants (convenience store in Rouen also) are closed. There was no time to have dinner, had to be contented with whatever food is available (if available), B&B hotel in Rouen is cramped you can't even spread your 23-kg suitcase on the floor), under renovation and room smells of paint.
