- AAdrina· January 8th, 2020My first visit to Nepal and I chose to trek the Annapurna Circuit trek. My guide cared me from beginning to the end. My guide Layu and Potter Pemba were very nice people. Layu is an experienced and knowledgeable guide of the regions made it especially helpful when learning about Nepali culture! we were bit scared the previous night of Thorang-La as we have heard about the HudHud blizzard but we managed to make it to Thorong La pass the next morning with clear skies. There were soft snow at the trail side. Our group went first and guide expertly lead the way for everyone else coming after. Special thanks to Machhindra and Radhika for helping me with the booking process as well! I would recommend Oriental Journeys to anyone looking to trek in Nepal.
