- Andrew· February 11th, 2024This was a wonderful trip. If you are looking for a great family getaway with everything taken care of, we wholeheartedly recommend this package. This trip keeps you moving from one place to another (a plus in our opinion), and we never had any issues with our transportation. Our drivers were always on time and wonderful. Our guides and activities were awesome. Accommodation was consistently fair, but you should not expect fancy... which is in keeping with the price. We were happy with every aspect of this tour.Show more
- Jennifer· May 29th, 2023We had an amazing time once we got there- but we were really unprepared for the journey to get to the Pantanal. We were greeted at the airport by our driver who informed us that we had a 4.5 hour ride then we were transferred to a truck to take us another 45 minutes on a bumpy dirt road and then a 45 minute boat ride in the pitch black. Had we been ready for that- no problem- but we were given no warning and we were not dressed for it. We also would have booked flights accordingly so we would have to arrive at midnight. We actually changed our return flights because we didn’t want to go through the river again in the dark. Once we arrived we had the best time and saw amazing wildlife and farm animals. We were well looked after and had delicious home cooked meals and an excellent tour guide.Show more
- Stefanie· June 8th, 2022My 13 year old son and I went on this tour as a middle school graduation gift. We had a great time. The rainforest is an amazing place to visit and learn about natural history and see enourmous trees, plants and plenty of wildlife. It was the beginning of the rainy season, so we did have rain most days, but we were able to enjoy the trip. The hotels were all clean and accommodating. Our air conditioner did not work properly in the first hotel and they moved us to another room promptly. We especially enjoyed the white water rafting in La Fortuna and the ziplining in Monteverde. All of of transports were on time and professional. Monteverde was my favorite destination. I do wish that there was more planned at Arenal stop. We did add a chocolate tour at Trimibina and a coffee tour at Monteverde. Check out the "Hidden Valley Farm" wood stove pizza for lunch in Monteverde.Show more
