The buffet dinners at the hotels were nothing special, dinners hosted outside were excellent, except for the restaurant "5 Inches" which everyone on our tour disliked! - PKPoonam· October 20th, 2023The tour guide was good. On arrival at the Istanbul airport, pick up was very poorly arranged. We were very disappointed and disturbed as no mobile number was given to us in advance as well. The person was not holding any sign of Ciconia travels and we have no wifi access outside the airport so could not contact him. He later was found bychance and he was holding travel talk board (not our company board) and by chance we checked with him and he said our names. Starting our holidays with this hassle was not good at all. Otherwise tour was good. It covered lots of different activities including heaps of sight seeing, visiting historical places, Turkish bath, hot air balloons etc. Our tour guide, Levent was not only knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely experienced but was also very accommodating, flexible and considerate. He made everyone in the tour feel welcomed, comfortable and being taken care of! He also had a good sense of humor and shows his passion in his work. We were so impressed and blessed to have someone like him as our guide. We would have given him 6 stars & if we could g. - SRShirley· September 17th, 2023A few things were different to the itinerary you supplied. There was no welcome dinner as per itinerary, also the Grand Bazar is not open on Sunday when we were scheduled to do it. The was no indication that the flight from Cappadocia had a 15 kilo allowance for our luggage, we all had to pay excess luggage. Also out of 20 people on our tour my husband and I were off loaded on the flight due to being oversold. They got 1 of us on last minute and my husband was put on an 8.30pm flight when our scheduled flight was 1.30pm. this is simply not good enough given that we were on a group tour.
