- DCDominica· November 11th, 2024Itinerary, guide and transportation didn’t reflect the descriptions of the tour. The worst is transportation, it says comfortable with A/C. The car is not suitable, the left side doesn’t open from the outside, the right side, seatbelt not working and the window knob is broken. Alexandra trip with fuel scent all day. The first guide was kind of rough, in rush mode and tried to get my card for payments but I said I will do it on my own. He even let me paid for the parking fee in the Pyramids, talking to the cashier on their language. I asked him what is 80 egyptian pounds and said its parking. It is kind of intimidating and rude they constantly talking egyptian to themselves. I know it’s not a lot but I have been asked so many times with a 20 or 30 in some other parking. There is no official orientation for the tour at the start. The hotel was changed at the pick up date., as the driver told me different hotel. The hotel and breakfast was great but the reception was not aware of us at the check in. Salwa is fine but tour itself is not. There should be a consistent person or guide that informs us for the updates.No efforts done if the itinerary is closed,, guides and others are only interested in trying to get you money or the tips. I am not surprised if no one booked the tour as we are the only one.,although we signed up for the group tour. We are dissatisfied and disappointed to this tour. Thank you though.Show more

- Carl· January 2nd, 2023The Tour Company organized everything very well. We went for an upgrade on the accomodation to 5* and the chosen hotel was very good. Our Cairo guide, Essam was so good. He explained a lot of history in great detail and was also very patient with some personal requests that we had. Just one negative experience with the driver that took us to Alexandria and back: he didn't know the road out of Cairo and once we got to Alexandria he didn't know how to get to the first site. He had to stop continuosly to ask for directions. I even offered for him to use my Google Maps but he declined. Took us 4 hrs to get to Alexandria and then 3.5hrs back as he lost his way back to Cairo. Very embarasing. Arrival day September 30, 2022, departure day October 17, 2022. 5 Days Tour Package 1: Cairo & Tour Memphis, Shaqra, Dahshur & Giza and Egyptian Museum & Alexandria Tour & The New Capital & Old Cairo. The adventure of Egypt started at Cairo International Airport. The Ancient Egypt Tours representative who picked us up from the international airport had to be searched for, due to poor signage it took half an hour to find him. The drive to the hotel was in evening traffic adventure for an hour and a half. The hotel was up to the local standard. The experienced driver always brought us safely to the destinations and back to the hotel. The German-speaking experienced tour guide was the first three days prudent, and courteous and self-initiated with additional offers such as arranging jewelry sales and visiting known dealers to initiate sales. As soon as we were informed that expenses would no longer be paid in US dollars, we had to buy the tickets ourselves. The tour package was a journey into the past and with the new capital a look into the future. 5 days tour package 2: Drive from Cairo to Siwa Oasis & Siwa Salt Lake, Gebel Al Dakrur & Gabel Al Mawat, Oracle Temple, Source of the Sun, Shali Fortress & Safari in the Great Sea of Sand. The drive from Cairo to Siwa via El-Alamein, with a visit to the Museum of El-Alamein, continuing through Marsa Matrouh on a newly developed highway with a young driver was scenically very varied but exhausting with a driving time of eight hours. The program in the oasis Siwa was a glimpse into the past and the stay pleasant, despite language difficulties, the driver, Omar spoke only Arabic and broken English but helpful and führsorglich. When saying goodbye in Cairo on the last day, he addressed us as mom and dad. On 08.10.22 an English-speaking administrative official from Siwa was our tour guide, he provided us with detailed information. Unforgettable remains the safari in the big sand sea with a jeep. The hotel in Siwa corresponded to the local standard. Breakfast was in the hotel, lunch in a restaurant in Siwa. In the evening before departure, the English-speaking chef surprised us with an excellent dinner, chicken cutlet, white rice and salad, it was excellently prepared. 6 days tour package 3: Drive from Siwa Oasis to Baharia Oasis & Baharia Oasis & Camp in the Black, White Desert & Drive to Cairo. The drive from Siwa Oasis to Baharia Oasis was again via Marsa Matrouh, Al Alamein, Cairo with a lot of construction activity such as road construction, building irrigation systems for agriculture along the drive. The desert landscape compensates the long driving time. The direct route from Oasis-Siwa through the desert to Baharia-Oase is closed by the Egyptian military. The accommodation in Baharia-Oase is as a starting point for trips to the Black-, and White Desert, it corresponded to the local standard. The tour of Baharia Oasis showed a varied landscape such as palm forests, saltwater lake, desert, mountains and city life. The three-day trip through the Black and White Deserts with a beautiful and colorful landscape left us only amazed. The nights in the desert in tents with a visit by a desert fox in the second night remain unforgettable. The experienced driver/guide/cook, Ahmed, in one person showed us the beauty of the desert and he knew the best places for a photo stop. The trip from the White Desert to Cairo was a journey from the silence and beauty of the desert to the hustle and bustle of the big city of Cairo.
