The journey began in Kathmandu, where I was warmly welcomed by the Sherpa team and briefed on the itinerary for the next four days. The communication and organization from the team were impeccable, ensuring that I felt prepared and informed every step of the way. As we set off on our trek, I was immediately struck by the natural beauty surrounding us. The lush forests, rolling hills, and snow-capped peaks created a picturesque backdrop for our adventure. Our experienced guide, along with the friendly porters, made sure that we were well taken care of throughout the trek, providing valuable insights into the local culture and geography. One of the highlights of the trek was reaching Pikey Peak itself. As we ascended to the summit, the panoramic views of the Himalayas took my breath away. The sunrise from Pikey Peak was a truly magical moment, with the golden hues of the sun illuminating the towering peaks in the distance. Each day brought new challenges and rewards, from crossing suspension bridges to interacting with local villagers along the way. - MARTA· May 3rd, 2024The experience wasn't what we were told. In 4 days, we spent more than 20 hours in a jeep with other 12 people. We had 1 seat for 2 people for 20 hours!!! (in the ad said it was 12 in total). It was horrible!!! It was a waste of time and really really uncomfortable. The schedule was wrong and it was a lie. We only loved the guide (Gal), he was very professional and knew everything about the route and culture. We learnt and he was amazing. But the company was awful, we don't recommend it. Also, apart from the money we paid for the whole trip, we were told we had to pay extra just like this when we were there (+200 dolars). So, overall, the whole schedule and information was a lie.
