- SNShanon· June 22nd, 2024Let me explain how this tour works, the tour involves the use of local tours and a few other driving companies to bring you from place to place. There is no big group or the main vehicle that you are with all the time. If you are soloing, you are picked up by a local tour each day. They might have other customers, they might not. But usually, it is just a day or two with the same company. They pick you up, tour with you then drop you off at your hotel. They might bring you to another city or you might get on a public bus. But don't worry, every transportation is figured out, and booked and the local tour companies all work really well on keeping the time and delivering you to the correct place even when changing from 1 company to another. Extremely great cooperation by the Turkish people. The tours themselves are pretty good. However, more than half of them will have at least 1 shopping stop at a specific spot. You can buy or not but, it is up to you , but people who dislike this kind of thing might find irritating. It happens nearly everyday although it is more of a problem with the local guide rather than Turkey tour booking. Although I am not sure if shopping-free tour really exist in Turkey, you will definitely need to pay more for those tours. Hotels are really well picked most of the time as they are in the middle of each city that you can just walk out and tour the main attractions by yourself sometimes eg. First day in the heart of old town Istanbul and less than 1 km away from Hagia Sophia was superb. Every single day, you can walk around and find something to eat and experience the culture. Although being in the middle of the city, there is no parking , ideally walking outside and wait for the local tour to pick you up rather than waiting in the lobby is better for everyone. There are some activities which cost extra money eg. Balloon in Cappadocia but they let you know before, so it is good. Couple of free days that you can do whatever you want and I really like those as well as you can walk around and take your time to experience culture although mostly you are in the touristy part so it is not truly a local experience, but you can always take a bus to some other less touristy parts. Book your own Activites or ask Senol for suggestions and let him book for you can both work well. If anything goes wrong eg. Local tour is late, you can call him and state your concern, he picks up straightaway even at night time and help you right away. Excellent communication and customer service. In conclusion, Pricing is good and the fact that you can book any day makes this tour really good. A few nitpicks here and there, but overall is really good. Thank you so much for the trip ShanonShow moreTurkey Tour Booking commented on this reviewDear Shanon, It was our pleasure to welcome you to Turkey and we are so happy to hear you had a wonderful time.
