- WNWalter· August 21st, 2022This was an amazing adventure that we waited for 2 1/2 years after canceling twice because of Covid restrictions. As a reference point, we are seasoned travelers who have visited 73 countries. The trip was well worth the wait as we traveled through 6 countries that are full of history, ancient and modern sites, culture, and interesting people. There is a lot of time in the vehicle as expected as you travel through these countries in only 14 days. Each day was full of interesting sites and history. The Balkans have been very important for civilization for thousands of years as they are the crossroad between Asia and Europe and have always been valuable territory that has been fought over for thousands of years. We learned about the accomplishments and conflicts that still exist today. We even saw history in the making in Macedonia and Bulgaria. Albania Explorer is an excellent company that over delivered on their promise of a great trip. Alma was always available to answer all our questions promptly. All of their travel arrangements were perfect with no problems. We could not have had a better guide than Seimer who shared an enormous amount of information at every stop. He even surprised us with some excellent unplanned stops. We now consider him our friend. We hope to have the opportunity to travel with Albania Explorer and Seimer again some day.Show more
