  Let me start by saying that I have already recommended this tour to everyone I know: what a wonderful experience! There was so much to do and see in 10 days: many historical and natural sites, the beautiful chaos of the markets, driving buggies at sunrise in the desert, feeding monkeys, traditional music and dance, and so much delicious tea and food (OMG the sweets!!). Morocco Joy Travel offers an authentic full immersion in the Moroccan/Berber culture and history - we learnt so much. Our guide/driver Ali was friendly, ensured we were always happy with the experience and did his best to accommodate our requests (including finding restaurants with nice vegetarian/vegan options, which isn't always easy in smaller towns). The van was comfortable and always clean, which makes a big difference when on a long trip around the country. The hotels/riads were great in every city and offered delicious breakfast to fuel our busy days. We upgraded to the luxury camp in the desert, and it was stunning – the perfect location for stargazing and climbing up the dunes for sunset. Ali partnered with local guides in different cities: they were all so knowledgeable, nice, and willing to answer all our questions. Shukran, Ali, this tour was unforgettable!

  We absolutely loved our tour with Morocco Joy. Ali helped us build an 11 day itinerary for our family of 6 and went above and beyond making it a great experience. We left Morocco with a new friend and a ton of new knowledge and experiences. The activities and accommodations surpassed our expectations. We were travelling with a baby and a toddler and every room we had was set up for our large family. Morocco Joy was able to supply car seats for our children and the van we travelled in was always clean and comfortable. With so much culture and history, it is important to have a great guide in Morocco, and we felt very lucky to have Ali lead our tour. We also really enjoyed the guides he partnered with in our tours of the Marrakech and Fes medinas. I was nervous to travel to the desert with an infant in December but Morocco Joy made it easy - truly the trip of a lifetime. We would not hesitate to book with Morocco Joy again and we deeply appreciate all Ali did for our family.

  Wow. What an amazing adventure! Do yourself a favour, ditch the big bus tour and explore the REAL heart and soul of Morocco with a private, personal experience from local guides. From the moment you arrive you will be treated like family. The air conditioned van is really comfortable, the itinerary is flexible and nothing is ever too much trouble. The accommodation is well chosen with easy access to all of the sights. As 2 women travelling (myself and my 20 yr old daughter) I was initially hesitant but Ali and his brother Hamid immediately made us feel safe and protected. They went out of their way to ensure we had the best experience possible, sharing with us the history, colours, tastes and sounds of their beautiful country. They were kind, attentive and professional, constantly amazing us as they fluently communicated with people in Arabic, French, Spanish and English. Bustling markets, tea with nomads, swimming in the cool water under God's Bridge, driving through the winding roads of the Atlas Mountains, sunsets over the Blue City, Berber music ringing through the dunes of the Sahara Desert on a hot summer night... it was an experience we will never forget. We didn't want it to end! I cannot recommend Ali and Morocco Joy Travel highly enough. You will arrive as customers and leave as friends

  The whole experience of Morocco was incredible….why did it have to end! I did the 10 day tour where my friend ended up joining me after a couple days in Chefchaouen. I can’t believe how quickly time went by! We got to see an experience so much of the Moroccon culture, food - loved the tajine and the local tea! But there was also enough time to relax and enjoy the whole experience! Ali the tour guide/driver made the experience unforgettable. His playlists and dances in the car kept us entertained throughout the road trips. He shared with us his family stories and knowledge about his country and we learnt a bit of Arabic as well! Even though I wasn’t great at remembering everything….Shukran I loved the fact the itinerary wasn’t strict so we could just go with the flow…. My highlights of the trip were….exploring the area of God’s Bridge in the freezing water, dancing in the desert an laying on the sand dunes at 2am an watching the stars and meeting and experiencing his family and culture! He went above an beyond my expectations with everything and I have so many wonderful memories of the beautiful country that I will cherish forever! I loved it so much that I moved my flight and stayed a couple more days and Ali took us to Essaouira - Morocco I will be back!!!

  The best tour I’ve ever done! Had the most incredible experience with Ali. The tour was brilliant. His warmth, openness and joy to immerse us in Moroccan & Berber culture and history was exceptional. Most importantly, as two women, we felt safe. Ali treated us like family. He is thoughtful and was intuitive to our needs. So much was packed into the 10 days. I particularly loved the small towns and the market in Rissani. The desert was so much fun - driving the quads on the dunes at sunset and the traditional dancing by the campfire late into the evening is unforgettable. He has a great road trip playlist and I completely disconnected from the outside world. We loved it and him so much we added an overnight trip to Essaouria at the end. Thank you Ali for introducing me to your beautiful country. I’m so glad you were our guide. I can’t wait to return. Ya Habibi!

  Took an epic 14 day trip to Morocco in July ‘21 where we traveled all around the country with a full on circus - myself, wife, 9 year old, 5 yr old twins and my 70 yr old Mother. Our trip was pretty intense with a lot of driving as we created our own itinerary that went Casablanca, Chefchouen, Fes, Merzouga, Ourazazate, Essaouira and Marrakech. It was a ton of driving and so much fun. We worked with Ali from Morocco Joy Travel and I cannot recommend him enough. He had his own private van and was with us all day every day which can be kind of intense with the amount of driving we did. However, he handled everything so well and became an honorary family member that we all miss. Some of the highlights working with him: - calling hotels / Riyadh’s on the way to request adjoining rooms - Hooking us up with great tour guides where local guide registration is required - Occasionally watching the kids - Did our laundry unasked - Cleaned the car daily And never complained about the kid mess - taking us to his favorite restaurants - Recommending great places to stay - Handling all our questions - Took us to get COVID tests from a doctor he knew when all the places around the hotel where so busy - Had his cousin grab a bag we accidentally left at a hotel and bring it to us in another city I am not one to write reviews but I felt compelled to write this one because he really helped to make this trip so memorable. We spoke to a number of tour guides with a mind boggling range of pricing for this trip and not only was he awesome he was also really competitively priced. If you are planning a trip to Morocco, do yourself a favor and reach out to him. Some awesome experiences during our trip: -Kasbah Tamadot in the Atlas Mountains -La Mamounia hotel in Marrakech -Camel safari and camping in the sahara -Hassan II Mosque -ATV’s on the beach in Essaouira -Todra river gorge -Riad Karawan in Fes
