- ATyler & Mary· December 17th, 2019This was one of the most amazing trips my wife and i have ever taken. CIE tours had a terrific schedule to see many incredible features of southern Ireland. The tour Director, John Doran, was someone who made the tour amazing, he was so knowledgeable in on the history and always had fun facts about the area we were in. John Doran was a patient person who would accommodate the needs of any of the 43 people on our tour and CIE is lucky to have such a professional gentleman working for them. If we know that John Doran would be our tour director, we would not hesitate to use CIE again.Show more

We had 6 people in our group ranging in age of 80 down to 20. Lloyd and Neil made us all feel welcomed and glad we were part of their tour. Lloyd even gave a nickname to my father-in-law (Jackie Boy) which made he feel special. Lloyd's signing was top notch! :) Lloyd was full of information but not to the point where it put you to sleep. We had a wonderful time and we believe it was due to Lloyd and Neil. Neil is an expert drive and we were all amazed at how well he maneuvered the coach through many tight places. They went out of their way to make the trip special for everyone. Thanks Lloyd & Neil! But it was so well planned by cie that we were just fine by the end of the first day. Our driver was "bob" and he made the whole trip worthwhile. I've been on other tours in the states; but he is by far the most informative tour guide/driver we have ever had. He shared with us all his knowledge about ireland and i have come home knowing so much more than all the books i have read before going to ireland. We are already talking about our next vacation with cie. I just can't say enough good things. No guide book and no relative could have been given me so such sought after information. Our tour guide and driver, Brian Rice was so perfect, soft spoken, a gentleman who guided each individual with personal attention,even through Hurricane Ophelia. He was witty, quiet when needed, yet full of amazing trivia. - ADi Binns· December 17th, 2019My review is a little late, but I just want to say what a fantastic time I had in Ireland this year. We had the best Tour Guide, Sabina Murphy! Sabina kept us entertained throughout the whole trip, her knowledge of history was amazing and her way of sharing information was engaging. Sabina has a really great sense of humour too. I was lucky enough to do the tour with 31 Americans (some people might groan at that), who were a fabulous group of people, in fact Sabina kept saying 'you are such a great group!'
