- CBClotilde· July 21st, 2024The rules and regulations of the company give the impression of professional tours with one of a kind experience, while it's only a trap. Once booked, no way to cancel if you change your mind without losing money. The description of the tour gives the impression of 5 full days while in fact it's only 3 x 3-hour tours and a 4-night sleep in a 4 star hotel worth zero. The experience details are not provided until the last minute. They say in the description that the details will be provided 2 to 3 weeks prior, while they only share details and vouchers 7 days before the trip. The guided tours of the Vatican and the roman empire were worth it but would be much cheaper with other companies. The food tour starts at 6 pm and consists of 2 pieces of pizza with a drink, a bite of fried artichoke and a suppli, 2 kinds of pasta with wine, and ice cream, with a walk from one place to another. Very minimal details given on the food or the areas visited. At the 4-star hotel, the breakfast was the only plus. The room was dirty, there were small bugs in the room, the toilet flush gets always stuck. I was stuck in soap in the shower for 30 minutes because the water was shut. They were going to charge 2 bottles of water when we didn't use any. All in all you have 2 afternoons&evenings and a whole day on your own. Definitely not worth the money spent towards what we thought was a "5 days - In-depth Cultural tour Rome City Break."Show moreTrip date: July 2024
- AEAnne· April 14th, 2024Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishThe guide who showed us the Colisee and Mont Pallatin spoke too fast. Difficult to follow. During the evening tasting, we ate pieces of pizza without any low-cost snacks! We were supposed to try fried artichokes, a local specialty, but supposedly they'd run out! So we went back to a low-cost snack bar where the tables were dirty! Then we went to a restaurant for pasta, and the red wine was served cold. Pizza + pasta was really too heavy. What's more, the guide was running from one place to another, so we all had trouble keeping up! In the 1st snack bar, I didn't even have time to finish my drink and had to take it with me. When we arrived, we looked for the guide for 25 minutes, as she had no sign, badge or anything else, and there were lots of groups. It was impossible to identify her. She didn't even try to find us! The tour of the Vatican Museums was very good. Very good guide, but difficult to follow with headphones as it was so crowded and noisy. The guide completely skipped over a whole room we would have liked to see. The hotel is very well located and quiet. Good breakfast except for the fruit juice, which is an infected chemical drink. Very friendly staff and the room was fine. Large shower and comfortable bed. The whole trip was far too expensive for the services provided. On Sunday there was only the evening food outing, alas nothing during the day and on top of that it was all in a rush, which is very unpleasant on vacation. We didn't even have time to take photos. A real shame. The driver who picked us up from the hotel to visit the Vatican didn't even say hello! I don't think I'll be using Tourradar.com again. Bad value for money.Show moreTrip date: April 2024
