- Alexa· July 1st, 2024My family and I booked this tour expecting to have all-around transportation and clear communication, this tour did just about the opposite. First off, due to my family being 6 people, we had private rides the whole time, which was nice. The hotel in Rome was beautiful, but it mentioned that the hotels were in the heart of Rome, which they were not. The hotel staff at the Rome hotel were very accommodating and friendly, but, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and all the shopping were a 30-minute walk, and the Colosseum was a 40-minute walk. We were closest to the Vatican, which leads me to my next point. The day we had the tour of the Vatican, it said on our vouches that we had to promptly be in the lobby by 1:30. We did not get picked up until 2 pm, maybe even a little later than that, and there is no one you can reach out to or anyone communicating with you at all. The tour of the Vatican was very informative and enjoyable. We had the Colosseum tour in Rome as well, and the meeting point was at the Colosseum. They provided no transportation to get there, and it was a 40-minute walk! Once again, the Colosseum tour itself was very informative and enjoyable as well. Next, our train from Rome to Sorrento went very smoothly, and the driver picked us up on time. Following our train ride, once again we had a great driver & a stop in Pompeii, tickets to explore the ruins were not included. We arrived at our hotel in "Sorrento," which was actually in Vico Equense. It says Sorrento & the Amalfi Coast, yet we were a 25-minute drive to Sorrento and across the coast from Amalfi. The hotel in Vico Equense was beautiful, but the people were rude and not accommodating at all. The hotel is on top of a hill, and it is difficult to get anywhere and very difficult to get a taxi, and they were a complete rip-off. We had an 8-hour driving tour of the Amalfi Coast, and the tour coordinator texted me the night before with the voucher. We noticed the night before that the meeting spot was a 30-minute drive! I asked her if she could accommodate a ride,, and she said it was "too late," just to find out from our driver that he had to pass our hotel anyway to get to the meeting spot! The airport transfer was arranged by the tour company in advance and worked out great. To sum up the positives, the hotels were beautiful, the tours were very informative, and the transportation, for the most part, was very nice. To sum up the negatives, the tour company had no form of communication at all! There was no direct person you could message or call at any point, and prior to the start of the tour, all they gave you were vouchers for each tour, hotel, and transportation, with very little information. The hotels were in inconsiderate locations, which caused you to spend a lot of extra money on unnecessary transportation. The way this tour is advertised is misleading and was a complete rip-off for what the outcome was. To add, $2,000 per PERSON for this. My family and I are completely unsatisfied, we will not be using this tour company again!Show moreTrip date: June 2024
- JAJillian· July 1st, 2024The tour seemed great on paper, but the way it was executed was not the best for the price. Both hotels in Rome and “Sorrento” were visually nice which had to be the highlight. Except, it was advertised that the hotel was in Sorrento but it was really in Vico Equense which was 30 minutes away from Sorrento where all the sights and things to do were. In order to get to the center of town or where we were placed we had to climb these steep hills up and down. It was impossible to get transportation. They should have told us that we were not directly staying in Sorrento from the beginning. Also for our 8 hour tour of the coast, the meeting spot was 30 minutes away from the hotel and there was no transportation from the hotel to it and we had to pay 125 euros. Just to find out that the driver picking us up at the meeting spot was passing where we were located in the first place. Overall the tour did not have one go to person to ask questions to or give us information! We didn’t know what to do when we were at the meeting spot to get picked up for the Vatican tour and no one arrived to get us. It turned out our vouchers had the wrong time and we were waiting 20-30 minutes wondering if they were ever coming. Our location of our Rome hotel was not ideal as it was about a 30 minute walk to where everything was to see and explore. When meeting for the colosseum tour there was also no transportation so we had to pay out of pocket to get there. Overall it seemed a bit disorganized.Show moreTrip date: June 2024
- Ginette· June 29th, 2024We thought we were staying in Sorrento, however, the hotel Domo20, was 30 minutes from Sorrento in a local area where a taxi was impossible to get. The hotel was beautiful but on top of a hill, the hotel does not provide transportation or a shuttle to the town, so you have to walk up and down very steep hills and steps to get to the town. They only give you 1 key, which has to stay the slot for the AC and lights to stay on. The staff at the hotel was also not helpful at all, it was like pulling teeth when I asked them to call a restaurant for me. They set a taxi up for us for after dinner one night we waited outside for 15 minutes, never saw the taxi driver and got scolded when we got back to the hotel. We also had an 8 hour trip to the Amalfi Coast and Positano, it cost us $125 to go 30 minutes where the meeting point was in Sorrento, just for the driver to come back and pass the hotel we were staying at. We originally asked if we could get picked up at the hotel but we were told no.Show moreTrip date: June 2024

- SLShelby· April 19th, 2024This is my first time using this company and I was pleasantly surprised with our trip. Tourradar appears to be an umbrella company that oversees smaller tour companies (for instance I booked our 7 day Rome-Amalfi coast trip through Tourradar, but the actual company planning the trip was "ClickTours". ClickTours then also appears to reach out to local smaller tour companies for the individual tours (Colosseum, Vatican, etc). All of our tours were great! The guides were nice and very informative. The hotels that were booked were very nice and felt safe. When we had a transfer driver from certain locations, they were on time and professional. I will say some of the negative reviews were because people didn't know they had to get themselves to a certain location at a certain time. There were a few times we did have to figure it out for ourselves (airport to hotel, hotel to one tour, etc). The company offers to arrange that for you if you are not comfortable doing so at an additional fee, but if you are okay with acquiring your own train/bus/taxi, it's completely doable on your own. Your hotel will also arrange transfers if you ask. There was a little stress in trying to figure out some train situations, but if you read the vouchers closely, you will see when you need to make arrangements for yourself. Overall I am very happy with the trip. We had free time to do what we wanted at each location and also had the stress taken away of trying to find hotels, tours, etc ourselves. I would definitely recommend/use this company again.Show moreTrip date: April 2024

- Olga· September 23rd, 2022This tour exceeded my expectations. Great itinerary with plenty of free time to explore in combination with interesting excursions. Very nice hotel in Rome and spectacular in Sorento. A special deep hearted appreciations to Enzo- our guide in Amalfi for his knowledge, charm, and professionalism. Will be planning another trip with this company.Show moreTrip date: September 2022
- Crisbel· August 9th, 2022Horrible. Don’t book. We spent over $3500 and the hotel had bed bugs and the tour company is refusing to speak to us. They ruined our honeymoon. DON’T BOOK!!!!Trip date: July 2022
- Daniel· August 2nd, 2022Didn't feel like good value for money. Most frustrating peace which I will lodge a complaint about was the purchase of a transfer in rome from the hotel to the train station, which was literally across the road 30 seconds. Even the driver was baffled.Trip date: July 2022
