  We started our journey from Delhi with our fantastic driver Anand through the whole trip. Anand was polite and made us feel very safe. All the hotels were amazing and food choice was great. Throughout the holiday we had Chahat from Bout India ensuring every aspect of the holiday flowed and that there were no hiccups. All the guides in all the cities we visited were extremely knowledgeable. Karni our guide in Jaipur was one of the best. We also had Kunal from Bout India meeting us for dinner to make sure we were happy. The palaces, forts and gardens were breathtaking. I would definitely be using Bout India in the future. I would award them more than five stars if I could! Thanks for a memorable experience Bout India.

  Excellent holiday organised by Bout India visiting beautiful Kerala.... definitely recomme... Nov 2024 • Friends Bout India created us a tailor made 7 day trip in Kerala. We thoroughly enjoyed all the places we visited, hotels were of a good standard and our driver Vineesh was fantastic. I would highly recommend Bout India if you are planning a trip to India. Our Coordinator Chahat checked in with us regularly to check we were happy and enjoying our trip, the personal touch was very much appreciated!

  Bout India led my extended family of 18 (ages 6 through 77) on a truly unforgettable tour of the Golden Triangle and Varanasi over the Christmas break. We have traveled extensively throughout the world, using a number of luxury tour companies (often based in the US or UK), but more recently, I have wanted to send my travel dollars directly to the local tour operator based in our country of destination. By good fortune, I came across Bout India and their terrific (although more scarce) online reviews. Himanshu replied to my initial query almost immediately (the man sleeps during the day in India to keep his work responses set to US time zones-he responded to almost every email of mine within an hour or two!), and every contact I had with him or other members of his company was excellent. Planning such a large multigenerational trip can be daunting, but Himanshu was incredibly responsive and was great at suggesting different locations and activities based on the individual interests in our group. From pick up to drop off, our group felt well cared for and received a truly personalized touch from the small, boutique travel company (we each even received Christmas gifts hand selected by Himanshu and his lovely wife - how’s that for unique?). Our guide, Narottam Singh (Narji) took us to Agra, Jaipur, Varanasi, and Delhi, and was one of the best guides I have ever had. Along with Himanshu (who also accompanied us as an extra set of hands and photographer), he customized our trip to accommodate our individual traveling styles and more importantly, shared what he personally loved most about each location to make it truly special. From tasting the best of street food in old Delhi and Varanasi, to volunteering at Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (the largest Sikh temple in Delhi), to our magical sunrise and evening boat rides on the Ganges in Varanasi, to our super fancy bus that took our entire group around Agra, Jaipur, and Delhi, it was all amazing! You know it’s been a special trip when you feel you have become friends with your guides by the end (and when you even feature them dancing in your family trip video…they were enthusiastic participants 😀). That is how I felt at the end of our 9 day trip with our beloved guide Narji and Himanshu. We certainly hope to travel with them in the future when we return to India, and we would never select another tour operator in India above them. Don’t hesitate to select Bout India if your future travel plans take you to this chaotic but truly magical country!

  One of the things that we like to do when we travel abroad, is to use a local tour operator. The first reason for this is that we want to maximize our tourist dollars to local people who can benefit. The second reason is that you can get the passion for the country in a way that you cannot get with a foreign tour operator. It’s for the second reason that I think we had such a wonderful time on our trip. Himanshu and Narji had such a clear passion for their country that it really showed during the trip. They insisted on taking us to get street food in Dehli which turned out to be one of our highlights. They also made sure to be flexible on the itinerary to make sure that we could get the most out of our time in the country. They even added a free tour on our last day just because they wanted to show us some things we had missed in our first time in Dehli. One of the things that most foreigners don’t realize, is that when they book using a local operator, they will get the same hotels, and the same level of guides. But they’ll end up paying three times more if they use a foreign tour operator. The hard part is finding a local tour operator that actually does provide that level of service. So, consider yourself lucky that you now know that Bout India can offer that level! We had a group of 18 travelers ranging in age from the mid 70s to as low as six. As you can imagine, organizing a trip with that variety of interests is not very easy. But they did a great job and put us in a luxury bus that was extremely comfortable to travel in. We would highly recommend them again, and we will certainly be using that when we return to India in the future.
