- Day 3 SHIRA 1 CAMP / SHIRA 2 CAMP (hiking 7km – 3/4hrs) – LAVA TOWER CAMP / SHIRA 2 CAMP (acclimatization hike 2km – 1/2hrs)
- Day 4 SHIRA 2 CAMP – LAVA TOWER – DESCENT BARRANCO CAMP (hiking 12km – 6/8hrs)
