Marija· September 28th, 2024The safari passed so fast that we could hardly believe that a week was gone. It was jampacked with action starting from great wildlife viewing, beautiful sceneries across the parks and some of the most fascinating culture. Yusuph is an amazing guide, he made it all possible with excellent driving skills so that he could ease the vehicle close to the animals without spooking them. His eyesight is super strong, he could see animals long before we saw them. Our trip highlight was seeing a lions pride successfully hunting a buffalo in Serengeti. This was just awesome. Each new day brought us views and we were happy that Zara Tours had given us a spacious vehicle in excellent condition. We had been booked in the exclusive in Central Serengeti we stayed in Serengeti Safari lodge and Ikoma Wildcamp in Northern Serengeti. In Ngorongoro we stayed at the Ngorongoro Safari Lodge. Springlands Hotel was our starting and ending point for the safari. They organized an incredible safari tour through Tanzania's most iconic parks with guide Marvin with us, . We explored Tarangire NP, Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro and also had an opportunity to see the fascinating Hadza hunter gather tribe way of life We were driven in a great 4x4 Toyota that could cruise comfortably through all the terrains. We were the only ones in the vehicle thus getting the full attention from our guide. He kept the vehicle clean and made sure that the fridge was was well stocked. I worked with Hamisi to plan and organize our trip and he was phenomenal, he answered all our questions and helped us to create a bespoke itinerary that suited my family of 10. We went in two Jeeps with guides Samido and Martin. They were all highly professional and skilled in guiding groups of mixed ages. We had my parents in their 70s, teenagers and we the parents. They guided us through the parks, taking us to less crowded spots away from the crowds where we could enjoy viewing wildlife in peace. The lodges we stayed in were amazing; clean, comfortable with the most friendly staff. I particularly loved Serengeti Wildebeest Camp and Ngorongoro Wild Camp. These two were amazing. They paid attention to all our needs like accommodating our varied dietary restrictions< They made sure we were comfortable all through the trip. - MMegan· May 17th, 2024I have to count our last trip to Tanzania with Zara Adventure Tours as the most memorable and romantic trip ever. We had an amazing guide - Makame who gave us the best guiding service to Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara National Parks. He was very nice, courteous and flexible, always keen to give us what we wanted. He would know where to find the animals, and when we did, he would raise the top and patiently wait for us to get the best out of the encounter. His narrations and answers to our questions were interesting, detailed and funny at times. He spoke very good English and we loved listening to him. He was quite insightful and would allow our special quiet moments when we needed them. The lodgings were top class and had excellent service for us. Shaban is an expert guide who made sure that we were comfortable throughout the tour, and worked to ensure that we saw all the animals that were on our wish list. They made our longtime dream of exploring Serengeti and Ngorongoro with an experienced guide come true. The actual trip was better than we could have ever expected, seeing thousands of wildebeest for the first time was amazing. Our guide Walter took us to Ndutu where they were birthing their young by the thousands. It was just special. There were also amny other animals like elephants, hippos, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, vultures, buffaloes and so on... The scenery and views of the landscape are spectacular and are never to be forgotten, Accommodation was also excellent. We went with guide Mdeme who was outstanding throughout the safari. He is a careful driver, excellent in finding animals and really great personality that makes you want to be around listening to him.
