- Vickie· October 11th, 2024This tour served as a basic plan for our trip to Greece, which we supplemented with other activities. We chose the 3 star hotel package. The Athens hotel (where we spent 4 nights) was clean and adequate and located just a short cab ride away from the Acropolis and other attractions. The hotel in Kalambaka was better, and the hotel in Santorini was delightful. Our drivers/guides picked us up and dropped us off on time. We enjoyed the included activities, and there was plenty of time in Athens and in Santorini to schedule additional tours tailored to our interests (a food tour in Athens and a ride on the funicular; walking tour of Oia and a catamaran cruise in Santorini).Show moreTrip date: October 2024
- Jan· October 11th, 2024First time we used an itinerary type tour. All arrangements were in place, picks and transfers, hotel reservations and tour reservations. We will try this again!Trip date: October 2024
- TTTammy· October 1st, 2024I live in the Western North Carolina Mountains, which is currently a disaster zone due to the impact of Hurricane Helene. After 6 days I still have no electricity, almost non-existent cell/ internet service and we are struggling in the region to find food, water, fuel, etc. Our airport in Asheville is still not able to receive all commercial flights, and it is very doubtful that I could get to it anyway, as I lost my entire road. Click Tours has refused to even allow me to postpone my fully paid trip to a later date and has denied all attempts to reschedule / refund over $2000 that I paid. They said the best they could do was a 5% discount on a future tour. Unbelievably callous and greedy. I will NEVER book with them again.Show moreClick Tours commented on this reviewWe were saddened to hear about the recent events in your country. - BKBiju· September 1st, 2024Overall I was very happy with the trip. I would strongly recommend choosing minimum 4 start hotel when staying in Athens. Both Santorini and Kalambaka are quite nice and hotels were excellent. Guides were excellent and the pickup and drop off were spot on.Trip date: July 2024
- CNCharles· June 23rd, 2024Overall a great experience. Just a few things could have made it even better. What was great? #1 The Transfers - pick-ups and drop-offs at the airport and port were amazing. The drivers were always on time, extremely polite, and the vans were comfortable for our family of four and all our luggage. #2 The Itinerary - starting with Athens was the perfect way to begin the trip. Delphi and Meteora were awe inspiring. And Santorini was the perfect island getaway. The blend of city, interior, and sea provided a wonderful overview of Greece. A word of advice: take advantage of every minute in Athens between the legs of the tour. There is a vibrant restaurant and shopping area that we wish we would have discovered a little earlier in the trip. #3 The Hotels - we chose the 3-star option and were more than happy with all of our stays. The location of each was perfect for taking in the night life. Breakfast was wonderful at each location. Luggage storage at our Athens hotel really helped reduce our load for the interior and island trips. What could be improved? #1 Guided vs Self Tour - not all of our guides were good with group management. Headset ranges were limited, and so if you got separated for any reason, you were on your own, and the guides weren't that great for looking out for the people at the back of the group. They also didn't leave much time for self exploration of the sites. It would have been better at each stop for them to ask who wanted a guided tour and who wanted a self tour, and then to tell the self tour folks where to meet and when. There were a couple times we started with the group and then choose to break off because it was clear that there was not going to be time to see everything at the site. Additionally, more time at each site would have been nice #2 More Stops - the interior destinations were amazing, but the travel there and back was brutally dull. We made one 10 minute stop at Thermopylae, but that was it. Our guide pointed out Thebes as we drove past, but other than a few bus stop restaurants, there wasn't much to see or do for hours. This felt like a missed opportunity to share some Greek history or make a few roadside stops at interesting locations along the route. #3 Better Food Choices - on the interior tour the two lunch stops were chosen for the group. The cost of lunch was not included as part of the tour, but the two lunch stops gave no alternative options. Our most expensive meal the entire trip was lunch after Meteora where we had no choice but the 15 Euro per person one-trip buffet. It would have been preferable to be dropped off in downtown Kalambaka and given an hour to fend for ourselves. Any advice for future travelers? #1 More time in Athens - give yourself at least a full day before the tour begins to see and enjoy Athens. We didn't arrive in Athens until after 10 PM and our tour started at 8 AM the next morning. We had the afternoon and evening to explore, but could have easily filled another whole day with things in the city. #2 Rent a car in Santorini - with 48 hours on the island a two day rental at $125 USD was a no brainer. It was waiting for us at the port and we dropped it back off there. But we discovered rental places in almost every town too, in case you want to use the included hotel transfer and get the car later. With the rental car we were able to explore the entire island from the lighthouse in the south to the blue doomed buildings of Oia in the north and everything in between. Each town has one or more public parking lots on the edge of town. We can't imagine what we would have missed if we had relied on the island bus or taxi service. #3 Find a couch on the ferry! - It's a 7 hour ferry ride to Santorini. And it's 7 hours back (on the same ferry). There are several styles of seating areas. Find one with a couch and stake your claim. This gives one or more members of your group a chance to lay down during the long ride. Bonus if you get one next to a power outlet. #4 There's no bad view of the sunset on Santorini - whether your at a restaurant or bar or just pulled over to the side of the road, there is no bad view of the sunset on the caldera side of the island. From the road to the port and southward, there are lots of great pull-outs if you have your own vehicle. If you happen to be on the backside of the island, sunrises are also amazing. Go down to the beach before dawn and enjoy the show! Overall, we got everything out of the tour that we hoped. Everything was exactly as advertised. There were just a few things we wish would have been a bit better, and definitely some things we figured out along the way on our own that helped make our experience great.Show moreTrip date: June 2024
- Carlos· April 27th, 2024Overall this tour was good or less. Mostly it was a tour on your own. Good things were the transportation to and from hotels were arranged. Hotel stay arranged and some location entrance tickets were covered. The hotels were ok not really great. Breakfast at all hotels were not good not much choice. The rest of meals not covered except for one cafeteria style dinner. But I still had a great time mostly on my ownShow moreTrip date: April 2024

- Alyssa· February 17th, 2024Overall the trip was smooth, from airport pickup to drop off. It was a nice, hassle-free experience that struck a good balance between sightseeing and learning about Greece, and downtime. The 8h ferry trip to Santorini was lovely, but the early morning I could have done without. My main suggested improvement would be either opting for a faster ferry trip both ways, or the longer ferry trip one way combined with a flight back to Athens on day of departure instead of arriving back at the hotel in Athens near midnight. The Dorian Inn hotel and Pelican hotel were lovely: wonderful breakfasts, helpful staff, and clean/comfy rooms. The hotel and included meals in Kalampaka were comparatively bad. It was clean, but not very comfortable. I’d strongly suggest booking an upgrade for that specific stay. You’re not there long, but after experiencing amazing Greek cuisine for the first few days, cold buffet style food just doesn’t cut it. Since we travelled in the off season many shops/restaurants/experiences in Santorini were closed, but that meant no crowds and great photo ops without others around. Overall happy with the value for money and definitely happy with the scope of the tour and the local greetings for info at the ports of arrival.Show moreTrip date: January 2024
- Stephen· January 5th, 2024It was a very well-organized tour and we really enjoyed Greece, especially Santorini Island. Ira Hotel & Spa is a great property on top of the hill with great views. There is no need to go anywhere to watch sunset in our balcony. We were given the best rooms facing the ocean with big balcony connected to the lounge. The tour organizer helped us to book a RT flight to the island so we saved a lot of time enjoying the beauty of Santorini. You need to rent a car if you can to drive around the entire island unless you really want to walk and clime. The Athens stay in the hotel Athens Avenue was OK. It is very clean but not a 4-star hotel by any standard. The Bus tours to Delphi and Meteora allowed us to learn the history of the ancient civilization. Tourists from all over the world were picked up and put together into large tourist buses and dropped off in different hotels (2,3, and 4-star hotels). The tour guides gave some basic descriptions on each stop. With so many people following the guide, it was hard to hear the briefings. Anthony was much more professional than Dominik who was talking to the driver all the way to Delphi and ignored us. Not much to comment to the stopovers and meals. Overall, we had a great time in Greece without unexpected event.Show moreTrip date: December 2023
- AAAna· December 1st, 2023This tour was well-organized and overall was a great time. The tour company really made everything easy for us. I wish there was a bit more guidance for the days when there weren’t tours, but we also really enjoyed being able to do our own thing.Trip date: November 2023
