- Dexter· April 18th, 2023We have done several river cruises before and this was our first with Lueftner. The Amadeus Provence is a fabulous vessel. The accommodations and meals on board were fantastic. It was also good to see a mix of excursions: city vs. outdoors vs. history vs. culture. Completely outside of Lueftner's control, a couple of the locks on the Rhone were closed due to the strikes in France, so we were not able to cruise south of Vienne. But our cruise director Andreea did a fabulous job keeping us updated on the situation, and Lueftner was able to quickly line up coach buses and a hotel stay in Avignon so our excursion schedule was not impacted at all. I highly commend them for their focus on the overall customer experience.Show moreTrip date: February 2023
- WGWilliam· October 28th, 2022The crew on board did a great job trying to accommodate us. Due to food allergies we asked for some chicken and salmon baked with a few carrots and other assorted vegetables. For some reason the chef could not do this and we ran it up the chain of command. As a result, Basia had about 6 meals she could eat for lunch and dinner. Turned out that the chef and dinning staff could not get it right. Now that being said the dinning staff did an outstanding job trying to make everything perfect for us. Also the entertainment put you to sleep rather than getting up and dancing. But the people were very nice Cruise director and the captain were very nice. The food and entertainment was what took you down in the scaleShow moreTrip date: October 2022
