The tour was organized flawlessly, starting with a smooth arrival in Kathmandu where we were warmly welcomed. The tour guides were knowledgeable and enthusiastic, offering insightful commentary at each destination. Exploring the lively streets of Kathmandu and visiting ancient temples like Boudhanath and Pashupatinath in Nepal was a deeply enriching cultural experience. The scenic flight to Pokhara provided stunning views of the Himalayas, setting the stage for peaceful moments at Phewa Lake and visits to Devi's Falls and the World Peace Pagoda. Tibet was a highlight with its spiritual depth and majestic landscapes. From the awe-inspiring Potala Palace in Lhasa to the serene monasteries of Drepung and Sera, every moment was filled with cultural richness. The itinerary was expertly crafted, offering a perfect balance of cultural immersion, breathtaking scenery, and historical exploration. Our adventure began in Kathmandu, Nepal, where we delved into the vibrant city's rich tapestry. Peregrine's local guides were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, bringing the history and traditions of each location to life. Witnessing the majestic Boudhanath Stupa and the fascinating rituals at Pashupatinath temple were truly unforgettable experiences. The Nepal Tibet Bhutan Tour continued to Pokhara, a city nestled amidst the Annapurna mountains. The optional sunrise hike to Sarangkot provided a breathtaking panorama of snow-capped peaks, while a serene boat ride on Phewa Lake offered a moment of peace and reflection. Crossing the border into Tibet was a highlight. The vast landscapes of the "roof of the world" left us speechless. Peregrine ensured all necessary permits were obtained and handled border crossings seamlessly. Exploring the historic city of Lhasa, including the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple, offered a glimpse into Tibet's unique culture and spiritual traditions.
