Sophy· June 21st, 2023The information provided by the tour company kept changing from pre departure and throughout the experience. The hostel was very poor quality. There was mould on the ceiling and the water did not work, especially when everyone arrived back from the day trips so expect ice cold showers. The hostel is 15mins drive or 1 hr walk to Sorrento and taxis were $30-$50 euro. The toilet on the bus on the way back also did not work. All travel plans were estimates and there was a lot of “standing around” waiting for either the bus or ferry to arrive. I paid extra and booked a private boat to Capri which was lovely however although I paid for a return private boat service, we had to wait 1 hour after the other private boats left and then were instructed to catch the ferry. This was most disappointing particularly as the company won’t compensate us for the fact that we paid a return private boat but only received a one way journey. I would recommend getting a group and going together and staying in Sorrento. It felt like being on school campShow more
