Back in 1989, two guys from Melbourne, Australia by the names of Darrell and Manch set off on an adventure to the other side of the world. They travelled to Africa and without air conditioning on their modified truck, they filled it with supplies, some beer, a bunch of aviator sunglasses, and...

I enjoyed the tour although I was compromised by pre-existing health issues which prevented me from undertaking the most challenging walks. The tour leader always ensured I had an alternative plan so that I enjoyed each day. A minor criticism - I found the bus uncomfortable - too little leg-room and no shelf to store our back-packs (but that might be my age and particular circumstances).

Tasmania was awesome but the Tour was not, the van was old and very cramped, driver played music so loud no one could talk, except of course when he was talking, each morning we had to pick up our food for the entire day from a local pastry shop, only had one actual lunch break during the whole tour, we were advised that the van was on a GPS system and there would be no deviation from a very strict schedule, during a majority of the tour stops, the driver spent most of his time doing paperwork or sleeping, except, of course, when he went swimming I have waited some time to submit this Review because I wanted to reflect on this experience and I had also scheduled another short Tour with this company which has now been completed. There is much more that could be written and I would be happy to discuss my concerns if anyone is really interested, but the bottom line is, I will never tour with this company again

Pretty comprehensive trip. Tour guige Larry took good care of all of us. Would have been better if we could have done the walk as well as the optional Strahan cruise. In Dec an optional visit to the lavendar farm would have been nice.

I booked the Highlight of Tasmania, because the dates of the trip were convenient to my programm. I will never regret it! What an amazing place if someone likes nature, forest, sea, small villages, nice towns etc. I cannot describe the beuty of the Bay of Fire and Cradle Mountains, the visit to a local winery and Hobart city. I suggest to spend at least one day extra to explore Hobart city. Our group was an amazing multinational group and our tour guide was the ideal leader for this trip. Do not miss Tasmania!!!

Highlights of Tasmania was an excellent introduction to exploring Tasmania. Our driver/guide, Natalie, was very good. We're so happy she led our tour. What a lovely person! The days are long (lots of driving) but when not driving, we were afforded lots of time to hike or explore. After taking the tour, I'm not sure I can recommend a "shorter" version to make the long days "less long". Our main "complaint" is that the bus is too small for 18 passengers. I say the bus may be too small, but the real issue is the seats are too close together. The seats are so close together that anyone with long legs has a very uncomfortable ride for many hours. Our suggestions is that you remove a couple of rows of seats and place the remaining seats further apart. This will make room for 6 less people on the tour, but it will also give all those on the tour a more enjoyable ride! After noting the above remarks, we still will recommend this tour to family and friends. We loved getting to know Tasmania.
