- SBStuart· November 5th, 2023Overall it was a wonderful experience although there was not enough time to relax and enjoy some of the hotel facilities which was a shame. The drivers and guides and most of the hotels were fantastic and could not do enough for us On hindsight, travelling to Kanha and then doing an afternoon safari was too rushed and having a 6 hour car journey, missing lunch and having to rush to the gate, as we found out it was 2 hours away, was definitely not acceptable. Our driver was wonderful but we arrived late and the safari jeep had left. Our driver managed to organise another jeep but we only had one and a half hours in the park and ended up getting back to our hotel at 8.30pm. In total we had to sit down for over 12 hours which is not acceptable for health. We understand that you do not choose the gates and it is a government lottery pick but could this be monitored and hotels then booked nearer to the gate as there was one next doo To have the option to relax for a few nights in Goa, would have made a great addition at the end of the tour. Overall it was an excellent experience to discovering India and we will be back in the future.Show more
