  Overall the tour was great, lots of variety of places to see and very good accomodation. The one downside was the "optional activities" that were offered while en-route. I was physically unable to do a couple, which meant waiting by the transport until everyone returned, and some days there were too many options. On other tours options are usually offered once we arrived at our destination. The age limit in the notes was up to 90 years old, and I doubt anyone of that age could do some of the challenging climbs etc. The trip notes were incorrect for Gili islands, stating little electricy, fresh water & basic accomodation. The tour is now done from Gili T (& has been for 5 years) which was very modern with lots to do. The incorrect trip notes would put many people off of this tour.

  Gede was an excellent tour guide, his knowledge of all the local sights was brilliant. Things that could be improved on the tour: The accommodation was always located by really busy roads and despite earplugs the noise was disturbing and you didn't get much sleep. When you have early morning checkouts this can be fatiguing. The ferry to Lombok was not the best experience, to have to sit on the floor for 4-5 hrs was not really acceptable. I think G Adventures should charge a bit more and offer the fast boat. Maybe some of the traditional village tours could be swapped for other activities, but I appreciate people that joined for the Lombok tour hadn't seen the Bali villages. Everything else was well organised and ran smoothly.

  The local and cultural experiences on this tour were great. I learnt so much more about both Bali and Lombok than i would have done if i had chosen to explore by myself. The tour guide Vera and our group really made the whole thing a very special experience.

  ?Met some amazing people and friends for life, including our tour guide who completely made the tour what it was. A good range of local/traditional activities were offered, however some of the accommodation needs reconsidering?

  I am pleased with my experience. The trip combined both cultural immersion and exposure to nature. I particularly loved volcano climbing, rafting in Ubud and snorkelling in Gili T.

  This is our second trip with G-Adventure. The experience of the trip is well worth the cost of the trip. We were very satisfied with the staff. I highly recommend G-Adventure to others who want a great vacation without having to plan every aspect of it.
