- RDRosita· October 27th, 2024Visited many beautiful places. I particularly enjoyed Voltera and would have liked to spend one more niggt there. Romulus, our driver was amazing as was Daniele. There were many highlights not mentioned in the brochure such as the Theare of Silence. I particularly enjoyed the oul tasting. It would have been even better had we been able to see the actual harvesting. The cooking class was ok but it felt more like a demonstration and the food was very basic cooking. Il Pallagio, where the demonstration took place, really needs to be changed from the tour as no one in the group enjoyed staying there. My room was damp, smelly with mould on the ceiling. The shower was disgusting.Show more

The pace of the tour was great, leaving us plenty of time to do things on our own. The time we spent with our tour guide Madeleine was superb. I can't imagine a better guide. She was knowlegeable, able to answer our questions and to do so in a charming way. The anecdotes she shared brought extra insight to the things we saw and experienced. We never traveled as part of a tour group before. Our experience made us eager to do more tours with tourradar again. Our bus was comfortable and our driver was very professional. As a traveller with Coeliac Disease though, eating safely is a huge challenge and Flavio took care of my meals in advance at every venue. The food was so much better than I had hoped for and I remained very well on the entire tour. It took us to the places we wanted to see, provided the experiences we were after, in a small group with friendly and expert assistance. However with Flavio as our guide, we were provided with even more than we expected: he taught us the language, suggested further activities and restaurants and ensured that we developed the passion for Italy that he has (as well as the passion for travelling). In our particular case, Flavio even organised medical assistance and took a trip in an ambulance to the hospital where he remained with us for several hours at night to act as our interpreter. For this we will be forever grateful. We cannot recommend Flavio highly enough.
