If we needed anything he made sure we got it and if we wanted to see anything extra we went there. He planned all our trips so we weren't going with the crowd and had the places much less crowded. Everything was very well organized. The facilities and rooms on the ship were very decent, as well as the food served. Lovely cruise staff. Karnak Temple, the hot air balloon ride and Abu Simbel Temple were the absolute highlights of the trip. One remark: tipping could be better organized (now paid upfront but could better be paid during the tour to avoid weird situations with locals).Show more

From the start he made sure that we where relaxed and comfortable with our day planning. He's a really flexible guide and asked us what we wanted to do and when we wanted to do it. The knowladge of the tempels was great, thanks to Kamal we learned a lot about Ancient Egypt and the history behind it. And besides a great and friendly guide, he's also a really good photographer. He made sure that we had a good picture in every Temple with the least amount of people behind us! The staff onboard are all very hospitable and friendly. Hassan was our tour guide for the entire trip and he is a lovely guy, very warm and friendly and very knowledgeable on all of ancient Egypt's history. We've had a very enjoyable and relaxing time in Egypt over the past week. We heard some negative stories before coming but they are absolutely not true. The Egyptians are a very kind and friendly people, booking your tours in advance I think is definitely the better way to go, no hassles when you are with a tour guide rather than if you try to travel alone and do it independently. I recommend this Nile cruise for anyone wanting to experience wonderful Egypt. Very safe, friendly and warm people. And Hassan our tour guide was exceptional!
