We visited the Pyramids and the guides were passionate and knowledgeable, always ready to answer questions or give recommendations. It was clear that every detail was thought out to ensure we had the best possible experience. also Visiting the White Desert was like walking on the moon! The landscape was otherworldly, with surreal rock formations and endless stretches of white sand. The highlight was camping under the stars it felt like we were the only people on Earth. The vehicle is comfortable, the drivers were good and the guide Mahmoud had knowledge, patience and sweetness treating us. We even talked about literature. We arrived at a Bedouin camp and took a 4x4 SUV there to the three places we visited. The visits included: the black desert, a well, the white desert. From the moment I arrived in Cairo, I was amazed by the rich history and culture that this beautiful country has to offer. During the tour, I visited famous landmarks such as the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum, where I was amazed by the amazing artifacts and treasures on display. Exploring the ancient temples of Luxor and Karnak was a highlight of the trip, where I learned about the fascinating stories of the pharaohs and gods of ancient Egypt. A cruise along the Nile River was a relaxing and scenic way to enjoy the stunning scenery and picturesque villages along the banks. I also had the opportunity to snorkel in the clear waters of the Red Sea and relax on the beautiful beaches in Hurghada. The accommodations throughout the tour were comfortable and well-located, and the local guides were knowledgeable about the history and heritage of their country and were passionate about sharing their history and heritage. - HSHarald· March 20th, 2024- After booking the tour I heard nothing from the operator. Only after a complaint they react. First of all we hadn't have an itinerary, no telephone number, no adresses. - I had to write ca. 25 messages for coordination and questions - too much. - We booked seperated rooms but get double rooms. After complaining it was changed. - We thought that the tour guides were German-speaking but the tour was in English. - In Abu Simbel the guide explained everything in the car and we went to the temple allone. - We started always early but also early we went back to the accommodation. More visiting time would be fine. - In Hurghada the hotel was noisy, the staff very unfriendly and the meals poor. At the last day there were no drinks for lunch - promised was all inclusive. - I can recomment Tuya Pyramid View Hotel in Cairo- very nice staff and good food. - The Nile cruise was amazing and the food on the ship excellent. - Please, these guided tours to shops are not that what I like. - We had four different guides - too many. - In the White Desert we had only a driver, no guide. It was a cool night in the desert, but we had water only for drinking. The driver had water for washing but didn't give us some. - We booked a sound & light show and prepaid it but then they wanted to pay us again. After complaining it was solved. - Dinner was not always included. They helped us to tailor the tour to our wishes, and were very flexible with organizing extra activities. We were provided guides who speak our native language on the whole route, the transportation was always on time and of very high quality. Nile river cruise was also amazing. We were in touch all the time and could address any questions we had. I have wide experience in travelling, but Egypt seems to be not that easy for solo independent travelling, so I would definitely recommend to do the tour with Itaca. To be honest this was our first experience via Tour Radar and in the first place we were worried if everything would work at all. I mean that the company would pick us up and so on. - EHEkbal· January 19th, 2023This was such a cool experience. Our driver picked us up fro our hotel in Cairo and we drove to Bahariya oasis where we got some delicious lunch. We then switched to a 4x4 and spent the rest of the day touring the black desert and crystal mountain. We ended the day to a magnificent sunset at Crystal Mountains where we camped for the night to more delicious food with a couple of other tour groups, and songs over the campfire.
