- RBRobert· November 1st, 2024Tour guides have agents and tour companies like tourradar use these agents to book the guides that will be taking you on the tours. The availability and quality of these guides largely depends on how far out you book them - according to a travel agent friend. If you wait until a week before the arrival of the guest, then your probably not going to get the best guides. I am not sure who vets the guides or how they are rated so I am only guessing that its probably the agents. I asked one of our guides when he got the booking - he said yesterday - maybe that's the agents fault - I don't know. The same can be said about booking airline flights. If you don't buy the seats and baggage upgrades when you book the flight you might end up in the back of the plane and pay at check-in for your overweight bags. The internal flights booked by tourradar were without baggage upgrades or seat assignments. We got a notice from tourradar the day before our flight to the falls about the weight limit for our bags. They checked us in 24 hrs before our flights. We were in the back of the plane on one flight and row 3 on another. There is a point in the process of booking a tour where tourradar has all their money - that's the point, in my mind, when they should have booked our guides, hotels, and flights. Our itinerary was not available until 4 days before our departure! There also was no inquiry about where we like to sit - assuming that tourradar is our travel agent. We booked a private tour and that was provided except at the falls where it became a group tour. Tourradar had a guide problem but they found room on a tour bus for us to tour the falls and offered an additional excursion in Rio as compensation. I was impressed by that. I choose "Good" as a rating because I think it could have been better. I got the feeling that there were an abundance of last minute stuff.Show moreTrip date: October 2024
- ICindira· September 5th, 2024Hi, my experience with Wanderful Holidays was great, The day of departure my flight was cancelled here in USA d/t bad weather, my mother flight departed from Peru, and she arrived that first day of the tour in Argentina , the local team was aware of my situation and they treated my mother with kindness and made her feel very comfortable with the tour, sincerely I thank them specially to Mrs Gisella (tour guide)and Mr Osvaldo (tour guide taxi driver). I arrived the next day and the local team found the way that I meet my mother during the city tour, this was so emotional, the rest of the tour day by day was running smooth , Iguazu was spectacular, we really enjoyed all the tour, the hotels were 4 start, in Brazil the hotel had view of the ocean and at night it was so relaxing to hear the waves , I really recommend this tour if you want to know about the Spanish culture of Argentina and Brazil...Thanks to every one that made possible this unforgettable tour.Show moreTrip date: July 2024

The rating of Ker San Telmo hotel in Buenos Aires was definitely wrong. The advertised 4 star hotel was of poor quality and in a shady neighborhood of the city. Also, the service on the Brazilian side of Iguazú Falls was fairly poor, with only lip service for the tour guide. Overall ok not great quality for The reasons stated aboveShow more

Jenelle· March 16th, 2024Wow what a four. While relatively short, this was a great trip to see the highlights of Argentina and Brazil. There was a perfect amount of time at each location to take in the sights and we did it feel rushed at all. We did a bit of an add on and went to a tango show as well As both sides of Iguazú Falls and a jeep tour in Rio. All Were well worth it and I'm glad we added these on. The transfers and tour guides etc were first rate and everything was well organized. The tour team kept in daily communication amd confounded all our pick up times daily and when we had some minor provider issues they were very quick to rectify and make right. Everything for transfers , flights and a conflation was great. . Cannot talk more highly of this tour and the providers - Wandeful Holidays provide such a personalized service and you do not feel like another number . It was so assuring to know they were only a call or message away if we needed assistance and that gave us great peace of mind. Our driver was late picking us up for the airport but the team approved and refunded us for our taxi . The team is very efficient and professional. Wendy and the whole Team Wanderfull has been by far the best tour company we have dealt with due to various reasons. Every step of the way, they have communicated with us no matter the time of the day and they followed up to make sure our needs were attended. Team Wanderfull checked up on us regularly to make sure things went well, I believe on a daily basis. They have been very accommodating to us and to our needs. We received prompt refund for our money when we needed to change/cancel the day tour that the company provided to a tour that fits our needs and time. We were provided extra tour when we missed our first tour since we somehow did not realize we had to meet our tour guide on our first day in Buenos Aires. Can't really blame us on this one since we were tired and hungry after having almost 24 hrs of no sleep and being hungry :). Team Wanderfull was able to book a last minute show for us and accommodated our request for a specific show. Team Wanderfull made sure we were satisfied with the hotel that we stayed at and moved us to a different hotel since our rooms were unsatisfactory (in Rio), even if Wanderfull had to eat up the cost of transferring us to another hotel. All the arrangements for the move were promptly made. Wanderfull Tour really stands up to its name as they truly are a wonderful company!
