The hotels are ideally located in the middle of the city, close to the finest restaurants, great shopping, and transportation (trains and buses). The hotel concierge happily advised on places not to miss. The hotels were all very spacious, except the one in Zurich. It was clean, with a wide variety of everything you could want for breakfast. The tours to Grindelwald and Mount Tittlis included gorgeous views of the Swiss Alps, sledding, and tubing. They also provided a gondola ride in Venice, my favorite place in Italy. We upgraded the trains to first class which was fine. Only issues were 3 transfers that were late arriving. Eventually we asked that transfers be earlier so that we could be sure that things would go smoothly. So despite the first 3 being late, the last 2 were timely. Only hick up we had was our driver ditched us at Zurich Airport due to a massive line for immigration. He had another job to go to. However, he did not relay that to us via text or let tour radar know. We took a taxi and were reimbursed the same day.
