Ram Barakoti warmly greeted us at the airport, and we were swiftly transported to a delightful hotel in the heart of the city to prepare ourselves for the trek ahead. Wangchhu, our knowledgeable guide, met us there and provided us with all the necessary gear while thoroughly explaining the itinerary. Surprisingly, the weather was ideal, despite it not being the typical season for such an expedition. Throughout the trip, everything proceeded flawlessly according to plan. Wangchhu, our accommodating host, went above and beyond to enhance our accommodations whenever possible, taking into consideration the availability and our preferences. He graciously accommodated all of our requests, ensuring our utmost comfort and satisfaction. Guide Praveen was a fantastic guide; he was on top of every last detail, and was concerned for the well-being of every member of the group, and our porters.
