- Priyadharsani· September 21st, 2024What a wonderful encounter! It was really amazing. September 2024 was our honeymoon month, and Seven Wonders Safaris was our host. Words cannot express how dedicated this local agency is, or how ideal our choice was to enjoy Tanzania as first-time travelers, particularly on our unique occasion like today. We appreciate you, Seven Wonders Safari Team, and sure, we will still choose you when we return to your stunning nation. Strongly advised!!!!!Show moreTrip date: September 2024
- Reddimi· August 30th, 2024With my family, which included my kids, we took a 3-day trip to Zanzibar then a 6-day safari with 7 Wonders Safari. With the exception of rhinos, our private safari excursion was quite well planned, and we saw many wildlife. We stayed in many lodges and tented camps, all of which were quite comfortable, and the food was excellent. Even though we could hear animals at night, the tented campers were extremely secure. Juilas, our driver and guide, was an excellent guide with lots of patience and excellent animal detection skills. Everything proceeded smoothly, but for the poor roads connecting Ngorongoro to Serengeti. We appreciate 7 Wonders Safri for planning our vacation and for promptly responding to all of our inquiries.Show moreTrip date: August 2024
- AAAnna· August 13th, 2023As for Tanzania we had many problems with the 7 wonders company and especially with their guide unfortunately the whole Serengeti experience was ruined i will below put the relation of what happened and I look forward to hear from you thanks dear! Message about Tanzania from the Serengeti Eileen We have terrible problems here after a morning game drive from 0730 to 09. We asked the driver to take us to the migration 3 hours away, yet he stopped and didn't want to go. He actually stopper for 2 hours in the middle of the Serengeti and stood still We asked him to call the 7 wonders company and i tried to call you, and they then told us we had to pay the 700 consession fee again, which we agreed. The driver stopped at a road and was unwilling to move, behaviour he has displayed yesterday also, when we were stuck for 4 hrs at a car dump with him. We stayed at the road without moving for 2 hrs. We agreed to pay although we missed the payed day due to the poor handling of the broken car situation. Next, the driver refused to start the car until we booked a hotel for tonight in serengeti. And still, we complied and booked the serena hotel for 650 dollars online (print screen from my bank below) and showed him so we were able to progress towards the migration. He called the agency and we were asked to pay another fee totalling 1200 dollars. I told them I had only 600 in cash, but would pay in a cash machine as soon as we got to arusha the missing amount or with card now. With no avail, the driver kept standing still at the same spot in the middle of serengeti for 2 hrs without wanting to take us to our desired and payed for location. We view this as extremely unprofessional and threatining behaviour, and as a result, we felt like hostages and the kids were all crying which is undesired and uncalled for in a vacation that was supposed to be well-arranged. Moreover, the driver was rude and brash, saying that we had to do what he wanted, despite us being the clients. To add onto his unprofessionalism, he also spoke to about 15 passing by cars (disrupting other tourits' game drives) negative comments about us and our family that were completely unrelated to the situation and an extreme waste of time. After this, he insisted he would take us where he saw fit and nowhere else, called the company 7 wonders, complained about our disagreements and as took us where he wanted without our consent which, again, made us feel captive since we had already sorted the situation and accepted future time constraints. In total in our stay in Serengeti, we should have had 1 afternoon and 1 day game drive trying to look for the big migration that we, ourselves, found was only 3 hrs away from us. I have claimed time and time again, from the very beginning the aim of the entire trip was to see the big migration. However, as a result of the drivers failure to handle the situations we encountered, we got: 1. No afternoon game drive - from 13:00 to 18:30 waiting for the car to be repaired at 3 different places and then an exhausting night drive to our hotel. 2. A short yet enjoyable 0730 to 0930 game drive in the morning 3. From 0930 to 1130 standing still in the middle of the Serengeti because the driver recklessly refused to drive. Then being driven completely against our will and plan to the exit. Although he showed interesting animals along the way, it does not take away from the fact this was not the direction we wanted to go. 4. At the main gate another flat tire and a 1 hour wait to fix it (it is very unlikely two accidents happen in the span of 12 hours without it being partially the driver's fault) 3. Crying and tired children in the middle of Serengeti (due to the driver's agressive comments and stubborn mindset). -Please note that we came from 20.000 km away to see specifically the big migration, and, being 3 hours away from it, the driver not wanting to drive and standing still was saddening and frustrating to us all- 4. Shattered hope, because of his attitude and lack of skills we have not seen most of what the Serengeti has. After Patrick, this driver guide is such a dissapointment. Among his qualities he has demonstrated: 1. No skills in tracking animals (despite knowing how to follow the radio and other guides, he was unable to spot any by himself) 2.No social skills (screaming at clients and not explaining the situation and facts well) 3.Bad problem solving skills (at the car repair point there were many cars that broke down (which he saw along the way) with drivers yet the drivers had arranged other transport for their clients, notice how we were the only people stuck there, and for 2.5 hours nontheless) 4.Gossiping about clients to unrelated tourists and guides and telling exaggerated lies to his agency (like how he originally stated we only spent 10 minutes fixing the car, when really it was around 5 hours)Show moreTrip date: July 2023
