    Everything went smoothly. The guides were well-prepared. There were sometimes few minor language issues, but nothing significant. We appreciated that even when we were taken to shops or handicraft places, we never felt pressured to buy anything, and the guides were not annoyed if we chose not to purchase anything (which we’ve experienced differently in other situations). The hotels were very good and clean. I also want to mention that our driver Sanjeev, in particular, was fantastic! He was an excellent driver and a very kind and helpful person!

    It is a fantastic experience if you want to know how a family owning an elephant live and work. Take note that the “mahut” (elephant guards) live constantly with the elephants as a member of the family and it is an honor to them to have the opportunity to take care of the elephant and show that to foreigners. This is their way of life and as a foreigner you should respect their custom with an open mind. ”The tour operator is constantly in touch with you solving any doubt or question you may have before and during your stay. The afternoon tours around the city are fantastic, the guest house owner attention is outstanding and they try to adapt to your needs as much as possible. I would recommend this tour and elephant experience to anyone who wants to stay a short three days in Jaipur , making sure they won’t miss a single thing about culture and tradition.

    The tour was amazing and gave us a great taste of India in the short time that we had. I felt completely safe the entire time our driver, Shripati, was terrific and made our trip we will never forget him we learned so much from him over the week from culture to general information he was the kindest man we had ever met. The guides met me at each city were very knowledgeable and made going around each area a much more enjoyable The hotels they booked were always well rated on trip advisor bar the hotel in Rathanborne it was okay where the others were all much nicer. We opted for 4 star accommodation We had pre-paid entry into all monuments and had also booked an elephant ride and a second jeep safari to get the chance to see the tigers which unfortunately we didn’t see but that is no one’s fault

Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
    • Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before June 19th, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 19th, 2025, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Volunteering With India. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Volunteering With India will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
    • The following cards are accepted for "Volunteering With India" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
