  This was a great tour, everything went smoothly, communication was good and my queries were always answered promptly. This is a very busy and full on tour but to see and experience everything it has to be done. Would highly recommend, the tour guides in all locations were knowledgeable and friendly. The hotels were great, friendly staff, clean rooms and breakfast was good, best hotel for me was the Recital in Istanbul, the staff were the best really friendly and went out of there way to help and give advise.

We found the visits to carpets, porcelain, leather, stones, jewelry too often in the program. We would prefer to spend more time on the visits to nature, culture and history. In Kusadasi/Pamukkale, our guide was not only informative but also had a great sense of humour, making the tour even more enjoyable. However, the food options were quite limited, especially for vegetarians, with no proper main meal available. In Cappadocia, our guide was knowledgeable but provided only 5-20 minutes at most sites for us to explore, even though we had removed a couple of activities from the day's itinerary. On a positive note, the buffet lunch was delicious, offering plenty of choices for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian guests.

  1) The tour operator was disorganized, we would only find out what the plan for the next day’s tour or flights was the day before. 2) The itinerary is nearly impossible to complete each day so guides either had to rush through things or cut out some of the items, making people feel cheated. 3) The operator did not advise what currency was needed for sites, so often people had Turkish lira when they needed euros or usd, or euros when they needed lira, etc. This resulted in frequent trips to exchange bureaus, incurring costs on credit cards or borrowing and exchanging money with other guests. 4) The domestic flights were always late, which is not the operator’s fault, but we were dropped off 3-4 hours before the domestic flight of 1 hour duration, but then the flight was 2 hours late and the hotel was one hour away from the airport, so multiple days just went towards travel or it was exhausting getting to the hotel at midnight or 1am and then getting up the next morning for a walking tour in the sun. 5) Our flight to Cappadocia was two hours late and the airport transfer dropped us off down the road from the hotel at 2am, and we had to drag suitcases uphill on two streets on cobblestone in the dark. The hotel assumed we were not coming and turned off all the lights, saying our operator or the driver should have informed the, of the delay. On top of that, they mixed up our rooms so our room only had bedding for two people instead of three and they did not want to take responsibility for it, saying they will fix it for the next night but it was our fault we came late and housekeeping had gone home so they were unable to do anything 6) The tour operator advertised that they cater to vegetarian and Jain diets, so we requested vegetarian meals, but they did not plan in advance. They just asked the restaurants to accommodate last minute which often resulted in less than great options. We were taken to seafood place where even the vegetables smelled fishy which was very unappetizing. 7) The hot air balloon was also significantly more expensive than what we had been informed. Overall, we would not recommend this tour or operator to anyone, and it was not a good first experience with TourRadar. However, the TourRadar staff we spoke to before booking this trip were very helpful and our operator was responsive when we asked questions on the site and later on WhatsApp.
