Poonam· August 19th, 2023I recently had the opportunity on a trekking adventure to Mt Everest base camp and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the breathtaking landscapes to the thrilling challenges, every aspect of the trek left me in awe 😍and wanting more.The trek spanned over 11 days. The route took us through diverse terrains, including majestic mountains and delightful forests. Each day brought new surprises and that left me mesmerized. The guesthouses so welcoming, allowing us refreshing after a long day of trekking. The facilities were very basic but yet sufficient. As this was my first trekking ever in my life I felt a bit challenging. Overall, my trekking experience of EBC was beyond my expectations. Thank you RG for great trip!Show more

Ram, our guide was knowledgeable and helpful and we always felt safe and in good hands. More than one of our party fell ill and had to be evacuated by helicopter. There was never any pressure on us to choose that route. It was entirely each of the affected person’s choice to return. One of the people wanted to hike back, thinking if he takes it easy and as he was going back down, he would be able to manage. Ram advised against this and this turned out to be the correct call as the person was more ill (he has a serious infection which led to an elevated heart rate) than originally realised. The management of Luxury Holidays arranged the helicopter evacuations and dealt with the insurance on our behalf from start to finish.
