We wanted to make sure we had all the resources and advice to explore the Muslim world in the best possible light, with respect and reverence, as it was our first journey there. We gave Ali a detailed description of the kind of experience (a cultural and societal introduction) we were wanting to have, and he did a fantastic job of designing the unforgettable tour with the correct guides in each major city. But in the end, it was our driver Erdwan who ensured that everything went smoothly and perfectly. He looked after us every step of the way starting with when he picked us up at the airport. He is a huge advantage for Trek Desert Maroc because of his kind demeanor, sincere desire to make things simple for us, and serious professionalism. He treated us like kings and queens and orchestrated everything around us with easy efficiency. In 13 days, we drove hundreds of kilometers and saw many aspects of a rich and fascinating country. We learned an enormous amount about the history of the place - our guides were erudite, friendly and very interesting. We stayed in beautiful places (except the last hotel in Casablanca, close to the airport, a brutal way to finish a magical trip as we were not ready to be so practical and wanted to fairytale to last until the very end).
