Mary· July 15th, 2024We had a great guide, Guillaume. He helped us sort out a very stressful situation and things were resolved quickly. The cities of Bergen, Oslo and Trondheim were spectacular. We were so fortunate to have great weather and enjoyed walking tours of some of the cities. The bus trips with guides were informative and the boat and ferry transportation was very practical. We loved the fjords and the hike we took. Lovely Nature in Norway.Show moreTrip date: June 2024- Carrie· July 15th, 2024Overall, I was very pleased with the tour arrangement regarding the places visited, the hotels, and the means of transport (train, bus, boat). I was especially pleased with the Havila Cruise, as it exceeded my expectations. I was not happy with how the tour was led by the "guide." He was more of a facilitator, making sure that we made it to the bus or hotels on the tour, but he did not communicate well and did not provide the information or help that I wanted or expected. For example, we were on the bus or train several times during the tour, and he never explained where we were, sights that we should expect to see, etc. I completely missed a show at a stop because he did not tell us about it, and we had to rely on another tour guest to check their Google Maps to tell us where we were throughout the tour. Also, there was no assistance from him with our luggage, and he did not communicate meeting times and places well, which led to confusion and mismatched meetups. I would also have liked to have had a transfer to and from the airport included in the tour because as a solo traveler, I was unsure of where or how to find transportation. I would have given the tour an "excellent" review if we had had an involved and enthusiatic guide, and hope that this will be resolved in the future as I would like to bring my family next time!Show moreTrip date: July 2024
