  Bad experience, often dirty rooms in loud areas, one time I even had to share a bed with a man. The tour guide made me buy gems, saying it would be an investment, having a brother who designs jewelry who "proved" the worth of the stones. Turned out the stones were a ripoff, manipulated with lots of glass. With that kind of money, I could have made myself a way better experience and the next time I travel I will organize it myself. I really trusted this guy. After the vacation he did not answer any messages anymore. This provider takes a big bunch of money to put you in cheap hotels, often we visited temples, so it wouldnt be expensive. Im not gonna lie, we had some really, really great moments, but the journey still leaves a bad taste in the mouth for all the money gone, with not getting the aquivalent value.

  Just back from the most amazing 3 weeks in Thailand. I can't reccomend this tour enough it was so well organised and such an excellent way to experience an amazing country, trying all the wonderful food and exploring so many different areas! The trip wouldn't have been the same without our tour guide S, he went above and beyond for our group and made our experience so wonderful and one we will never forget! He really looked after us and gelled the group together. Also shout out to our driver Benz who really took care of us and made the travelling around so stress free. When our train broke down Benz came to pick us up and drove the extra 7 hours to take us to the next destination. Thank you so much to S and benz for making this an experience of a life time!

  Incredible! That’s the only way to describe our Thailand tour with BTT. Our guides, S and Tony, were outstanding, providing us with rich insights into each location we visited.   Unbelievable trip with Backpacking Tours! The whole experience was seamless from start to finish. Heart and K, our tour guides, were the life of the party and the soul of the journey.
