  Khalil went above and beyond on our trip. Our driver, Ali, was always on time, helpful, and greeted us with water during the hot weather. Both of the tours we took were very informative. My one complaint is that we wish we had been warned about the prices and haggling before being dropped off at the rug store. We happened to be there during a holiday, and our Fes tour guide welcomed us into his home for a meal since everything was closed. Other than that, it was truly an amazing trip. Megan and Winnie at Wunderlust were always helpful, even responding promptly and assisting with reservations for the group.

  e absolutely loved our time in Morocco and couldn’t recommend Khalil and our driver Alimore highly. Hassan easily coordinated our itinerary and maintained constant, effective communication throughout our trip. Ali was an amazing driver, providing exceptional local knowledge and ensuring we were well looked after. Having our own air-conditioned vehicle and Ismail’s expertise, along with the brilliant guides and accommodations at each location, allowed us to enjoy every moment without worrying about organizing transfers or logistics. The entire trip was incredible, but highlights included the stunning blue city of Chefchaouen, riding camels in the Sahara, staying with a local Berber family in the High Atlas Mountains, and experiencing the cultural and historical richness of Fes. Thank you so much, Khalil, Ali, and all the wonderful guides we had along the way, for sharing your knowledge and hospitality. It was a brilliant experience!

  The guide was good and helped to communicate with locals. He was gracious to even bring us to visit his family home and share food and drink with his extended family over the holiday. The tour overall was great in that it showed so much of the country’s heritage and people from small villages to large imperial cities. However, the itinerary planning and organization was 1-star at best. We were never provided a detailed itinerary and didn’t know our lodgings until hours before each day’s stop. Many lodging locations we sub par based on cleanliness and service. Incidentals that were paid early on in trip such as water and soda at dinner, was suddenly a separate expense we were required to pay about halfway through. In our last city, Marrakech, we were asked to go to the same restaurant 2 nights in a row with just 4 meal options. When we refused (because all the dinners had become repetitive and no variety), we were allowed an equivalent of $15 per person for dinner (which was about 60% what would cost at a reasonable restaurant in the city). When asked to schedule Special excursions, the tour office was horrible in planning and communicating with us. We were left with so many questions we decided to schedule things on our own in the last city. We attempted to communicate more direct with the tour office asking specific questions and instead of responding, he removed himself from our chat group. The country was beautiful with some much history and wonderful people, but I would not recommend this tour company.

  This trip was wonderful in its depth; 10 days to experience all facets of Morocco, not just the major cities. We loved the experiencing the culture and learning so much about Morocco, its heritage, and people. Our guide did a good job and was friendly. He was helpful communicating with locals and was even gracious to invite our group to his family’s home to visit and share food and drink. As for the itinerary and overall organization of the adventure, I would give this a 1-star rating. Communication beyond the initial broad description lacked tremendously. We never had any info of our lodgings until hours before we were driving there. More than once, our lodgings were not up to par to what we would consider acceptable lodging (hygiene and decor of the locations). Meals became redundant; when it was suggested we go to the same restaurant 2 nights in a row in our last city, Marrakech, we inquired to go elsewhere and were unable to and only given an equivalent $15 per person allowance for dinner (about 60% of what we would reasonably need in the city). We did have some great experiences and some nice lodgings, but overall the lodging was lacking and there were instances where we suddenly were being expected to pay for incidentals that were initially being paid for (water and soda at meals, for example). For customization of the tour for specific requests how to spend time, again (such as scheduling a Hamam), the communication was nonexistent. Even with our extended efforts to lock in plans with the tour office, we were left unsure of plans on a few days. We ultimately took matters into our own hands and made our own reservations for excursions. The tour office manager actually removed himself from our online text communication group. Completely unprofessional.
