As for the walk in the desert in Fayoun, it is not worth it. No dunes, no sandboarding, local restaurant almost closed. We only walked to see the artificial waterfalls overlooking the lake. As for the extras they offer, such as dinner on the Nile, or the light show at the pyramids, KNOW that you only pay for the transfer. The entrance fee is separate.
