His expertise in guiding us safely up the mountain was evident every step of the way. He made sure we were acclimatized properly and was always there to offer words of encouragement when the going got tough. The porters, cooks, and waiters, led by Jimmy, were equally amazing. They ensured that we had everything we needed, from hot meals to extra layers of clothing when it got chilly. The level of service and teamwork was just outstanding. Our climbing crew, led by the amazing Tuliza, was the heart and soul of the expedition. Their expertise in navigating the route and their constant support kept us going through every altitude zone. Each camp was set up with care, and the food was incredible—nourishing, delicious, and just what we needed to fuel our climb. Ben and Julian, our town guides, gave us a warm introduction to the local culture before we hit the mountain. Their knowledge made our visits to Marangu Waterfalls and the Chagga UNESCO sites feel like stepping into the heart of Tanzania. It was the perfect way to begin our adventure. The Lemosho Route itself was spectacular, with ever-changing landscapes and plenty of time to acclimatize, which made the final push to Uhuru Peak achievable. The sense of accomplishment at the summit was beyond words, and it was thanks to the exceptional planning and support from Authentic Africa Travel.
