- SSabrina· February 21st, 2024My trip to Scotland was a remarkably balanced experience between freedom and planning. I was impressed by the variety of options available to occupy my time, whether in bustling cities or more remote locations. This flexibility allowed me to create an itinerary tailored to my desires while still benefiting from numerous scheduled activities. Whether opting to stroll through the lively streets of Edinburgh or Glasgow, or embarking on adventures in the rural regions of the Highlands, there was always a myriad of activity choices to cater to my interests and schedule. This diversity enriched my experience by allowing me to discover Scottish culture, history, and landscapes at my own pace, thus creating unforgettable memories of my stay.Scotland is truly a country where the beauty of the landscapes takes your breath away. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity!Show moreTrip date: June 2023

- Isabelle· February 4th, 2024What a blast! The Scotland tour is EVERYTHING! Great balance between various activities (ex. light hiking in the Highlands), meaningful time on the bus (storytelling, learning about the culture through history, myths and legends) and free time (so important!). Our guide Neil was everything I expected and more: funny, a great leader and an impressive knowledge of Scotland. The itinerary brought us to magical places! We were taken to the classic sites in terms of going to this beautiful country for the first time but through Neil’s knowledge and the tour’s vision, we ended up in unexpected places less visited by other tourists. 10/10 would recommand going on this tour! You will feel in great hands with Mary, an incredible guide throughout the experience, as she is in love with the destination so her passion is infectious. She cleverly mixes in little bits and pieces of history and anecdotes which clues you in faster into the Scottish culture! A guaranteed good time!Show moreCeltica Experience commented on this reviewIt was very special to have had you with me on tour again, this time for Scotland. Thank you for recommending Celtica Experience to other travelers and for posting your nice photos!!Trip date: February 2023
- LVLaurie· February 2nd, 2024Embarking on the Celtica Experience tour was a transformative adventure that surpassed all expectations. This unique journey offered a perfect blend of cultural immersion, exploration, and camaraderie, making it an unforgettable experience. One of the standout features of the Celtica Experience was the opportunity to connect with the local people. Interacting with Scottish individuals provided profound insights into their lives, creating meaningful connections that added depth to the overall experience. The tour's meticulous planning struck a perfect balance between organized activities and free time. Unlike traditional tours where one may feel confined to a bus, Celtica Experience encouraged exploration by keeping participants on the move, fostering a dynamic and engaging atmosphere!Show moreCeltica Experience commented on this reviewHi Laurie, It was so nice that you came on this trip with Celtica Experience after having done Ireland with me as well. You really understand how we try to make the trip unique and meaningful. Thank you for your great review!Trip date: June 2023
- EREdward· January 30th, 2024The tour by Celtica Experience is a perfect mix of discovering Scotland’s nature and culture. The road is almost too short between stopping point; we could have listened much longer to Neil’s great stories about his country. His historical knowledge is very impressive and his love for Scotland is really contagious. You really feel the passion of every tour guide involved in the trip. The organization of this tour is top notch. In the end, the most difficult thing I had to do was try to decide which activity was my favourite—there were so many. I highly recommend Celtica Experience for anyone who loves to see beautiful scenery while learning about Scottish culture in an in-depth way.Show moreCeltica Experience commented on this reviewThank you for writing such nice comments about your Celtica Experience tour :)Trip date: June 2023
- Dany· January 29th, 2024Awesome trip all around!!!!! People in charge were respectful, funny, smart, always on time, never boring, smiling and most of all; awesome teachers! I was in a wonderful, eclectic fun group with Neil as our witty and resourceful tour guide and the beautiful Mary as our team captain! We visited many of the most iconic and renowned spots of Scotland but with a little extra: Neil brought the group to some of the greatest secret, hidden gems of this beautiful country. Places you don't hear about in books or most of places-you-need-to-visit-in-Scotland lists! Wonderful sceneries such as gigantic mountains, beautiful Lochs, challenging hiking trails or lively cities like Edimburgh, Inverness or Aberdeen were our daily activities. Most of all, this trip is focused on discovery. Not only about visiting new places but primarily making new friends along the route. The Scots are beautiful people. Through the Celtica Experience, we learned what they went through as a nation. They wanted more for their people and they fought for it. It was very inspiring. It was an amazingly deep and wildly entertaining ride. You need to try it!Show moreCeltica Experience commented on this reviewThank you Dany! - JJeannie· January 29th, 2024Going to both trips to Scotland and Ireland with Celtica Experience was a dream come true for me. The landscapes were ever bit as majestic as I expected with rolling hills, serene lochs, ancient castles and soaring seacliffs overlooking the ocean. The organization by Celtica Experience was impeccable. Every detail for both trips is woven together perfectly, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the travel experience without the stress of managing logistics. It was the perfect balance of exploration and relaxation. These trips to Scotland and Ireland combined natural beauty, cultural richness, and a touch of magic. Scotland and Ireland have etched themselves into my heart, leaving behind wonderful memories and new friends. Thank you Mary, Neil and Gabe for your hard work and dedication to making my trip as wonderful as it was.Show moreTrip date: June 2023
- EElisabeth· January 29th, 2024I went on this tour with a few of my friends and many strangers, but in the end I was able to make connections with new people in the group. When the activities of the day were done, we often spend the evening in a group exploring around, eating out together or lounging around in the hostels. The balance of organized activities and free time was really appreciated, as we could choose to do activities in smaller groups depending on our individual interests. Our local tour guide was one of a kind, with great stories and a deep love for scottish culture. Thank you Neil for this wonderful adventure! He took us around the great scottish outdoors and because of his expertise, we were able to see places the we hadn't even known of before the trip. Mary is an excellent tour guide : her passion for Scotland really shines through before and during her trips, just as it did when we went to Ireland with her in 2018. I can only hope she expends her trips to other european countries. Me and my boyfriend would sign up in a heartbeath since we know of the quality of those trips! Overall, traveling with Cealtica Experience is a sure way to make the most out of your money, to see beautiful places (some which you would not have though of) and make connections that can last many years (I had the opportunity to travel again, in 2023, with people I traveled to Ireland with in 2018).Show moreCeltica Experience commented on this reviewThank you Elisabeth for your presence in both Ireland and Scotland with Celtica Experience and your kind words. - JDJade· January 28th, 2024Last year, I decided to embark on a journey to Scotland. I was fortunate to experience an amazing adventure, guided by Neil, a local expert who revealed to us his hidden gems, and expertly organized by the remarkable Mary, our travel agent. From the captivating streets of Edinburgh to the majestic Highlands, every step was accompanied by formidable moments. We ventured beyond the ordinary, discovering secret spots that added a touch of magic to our Scottish journey. Regarding the accommodations, staying in strategically located hostels enhanced the overall experience.
