- TZTeresa· October 22nd, 2024I just finished my 10-day Imperial Cities & Desert Grand Tour with Morocco Luxury Tour, and boy, was that memorable! From the energetic city of Casablanca with its architectural beauty in Hassan II Mosque to the eclectic atmosphere of the Old Medina, I was hooked!. From bustling markets to tranquil parks, our erudite guide led us with ease through the kaleidoscope that is Moroccan culture, drawing history and appeal out of every location visited. Even more varied scenery and cultures of this country could be seen on a trip to Rabat and Chefchaouen, while stunningly beauteous blue streets of the so-called "Blue City" just left me wonder-struck. The Sahara Desert was to me the heart of this trip-a two-day sojourn. Surreal it was, trekking over the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi on camels-a thing I had never seen, nor could ever have imagined. Magically, sunset painted the sky in vivid hues as I stood atop a dune. The traditional Bedouin camp was cozy, immersive, where we enjoyed delicious Moroccan cuisine, experienced local music under a sky full of stars. Further explorations to the Todra Gorge and kasbahs at Aït Benhaddou were equally mesmerizing because each location revealed a different kind of stunning scenery and architectural wonder that Morocco has in store. In Marrakech, where the tour ended, I was struck by the energy of the vibrant Jemaa el-Fna full of entertainers and food, and practically bursting markets. The historical sites and gardens that came with the guided tour-the perfect marriage of culture and tranquility-included a visit to the Majorelle Garden. My stay was curated very well by Morocco Luxury Tour, as they ensured comfort and smooth transitions throughout the trip. All in all, this was a great journey to take me through Moroccan life, history, and landscapes; and I recommend this wholeheartedly to anyone willing to take a tour of this magic country!Show more

This trip was just for my husband and me, and we had just shy of a week to explore Morocco before meeting up with our daughter in Malaga, Spain. Ali put together an itinerary that allowed us to see a lot without feeling hectic. Our driver, Reda, was wonderful. He spoke English very well, was fun to chat with, and was always kind and polite when answering our many questions about the country and culture. A particular highlight was Chefchaouen, the blue city, which was so beautiful and charming. The riad we stayed at was beautiful, well-located, and the hammam there was a great experience. Our guide in Fes was also excellent; as a scholar, he shared fascinating and heartwarming insights about the relationship between Morocco and the Jewish population. The only disappointment was that we had planned a surf outing at the end of our trip, but it was not the right season for catching waves. We ended up going for a swim, which was still lovely.
