CHIRON· November 5th, 2024James is a great tour guide, very funny, always worries with the group and eager to help if needed. They picked me at my hotel at time, the bus was very comfortable and we had water waiting has we entered. The boat in Trang An is so beautiful and the Mua Cave is amazing. I recommend you go to the top, however be prepared to climb about 500 steps. But the view and the feeling are amazing! The day was jam packed with tours to multiple sights throughout the area, including a Buddhist Temple Tour, Boat Ride through Trang An, and hike up the Lying Dragon Mountain. He was a good guide who shared interesting facts about Vietnam and taught us the most useful phrase when haggling at markets (which we used the rest of our trip). We absolutely loved the boat ride in Trang An and the views at Mua Cave. Highly recommend if you only have one day to spare for Ninh Binh. The tour also included those conical bamboo hats that we used the entire tour to save us from the sun!Show more

- Ngo· June 27th, 2024What a wonderful trip. The cycling along the river, the boat trip and the visit to the mountains were spectacular. Especially the boat lady surprised us with her strength as she rowed for almost 90 minutes, please keep all your tips for these people as they don't earn enough. The mountain has spectacular views and you can get unforgettable photos if you can get high enough as it is quite challenging to climb and the final push for the dragon requires a lot of narrow and rocky movement with a lot of people, just be careful. - Sarah· May 10th, 2024We had a fantastic day with our tour guide Quy. He was friendly and kept us informed about the plans throughout the day. We appreciated the fact we had free time to explore the sites ourselves after Quy gave a brief history / introduction. Lunch was an average buffet but decent enough. The short bike ride was fun. The boat ride was beautiful but be prepared to give a tip as the rowers will be persistent after their hard work. The climb up at Mua Cave was tough in the heat but definitely doable if you’re of average fitness - make sure you check out Lotus Lake around the corner as it was stunning.
