- LBLamia· March 24th, 2024The tour operator created and executed a tour that fulfilled all our hopes to learn about and experience Morocco—its topography, history, people, and current status. My spouse and I travelled to Morocco with our three adult children in December 2023/January 2024, and the accommodation in the van and well-appointed triples allowed for ease of group travel. The order of the tour, every stop in the ambitious itinerary, and the accommodations and restaurants were selected to maximally highlight our locations as well as efficiency. The views from a number of the inns, and the experience inside the riads extended exposure to our settings. Our driver, Aziz Sakri, ensured that every stage of the tour went smoothly, and he offered information, advice and tips that enhanced our tour significantly. He is knowledgeable about the history, culture, and current living in Morocco, and he shared his experience and expertise with us, greatly enhancing our travel experience. In particular, during our trip through the Atlas Mountains, he noted areas affected by the recent earthquake and the ways the country and its people were working to recover. We highly recommend Aziz and his tour company for anyone searching for an engaged and deeper experience during their trip to Morocco.Show moreMorocco Social Impact Travels commented on this reviewDear Lamia, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! - ARAnne· March 21st, 2024Our trip to Morocco was remarkable. It is an incredibly beautiful country and the people we found were most kind and hospitable. We saw so much - the desert, the medinas of ancient cities, the bustle of modern ones, the Atlas mountains, small villages and unexpected oases. We stayed in lovely hotels. Some riads, a kasbah, and even a Berber tent in the desert. Transportation in and out on a camel. Aziz, our driver, guide and eventual friend made everything work seamlessly. He was punctual, perfectly dependable and his English is flawless. He gave us clear advice about navigating areas on our own. He recommended food to try and places to find it. He chose great spots to eat and to visit when we were on the road. He generously shared his deep knowledge of his beloved Morocco and its culture. Our drives had lots of conversation and he thoughtfully answered our many questions. We learned so much. Aziz was unfailingly good humoured, kind and patient. We trusted him to lead the itinerary and found that he quickly understood and incorporated some of our special interests as well. Our days in Morocco could not have been better! In this day and age, it was important to us that the guiding principle of MSITravels is tourism with a positive social impact on local communities. We saw Aziz and his tour company truly live that mission. Morocco is an incredible place of natural beauty, history and culture. It is safe and friendly. It is our experience however, that the tour operator and guide are what make a really great trip, truly extraordinary. We most highly recommend Aziz and MSITravels for an extraordinary Moroccan adventure.Show moreMorocco Social Impact Travels commented on this reviewDear Anne, Thank you for sharing your incredible experience of your trip to Morocco. - LMLaura· March 21st, 2024I can't say enough good things about this trip. From day one till the end, our family of 5 wouldn't change a thing! Excellent communication throughout the whole process. We were even able to customize the trip to allow our family a day at the beach. Aziz (our guide/driver) has a wealth of knowledge about his country and he was able to further tailor the trip to fit everyone's interests. Like adding a last minute stop at a dinosaur fossil museum. Everyone went above and beyond to make the trip special. I mentioned that I would love to learn how you cook lamb and the next day we had a cooking class for us set up with a local family! All of the hotels/riads we stayed in were wonderful and they treated us with the upmost hospitality. Our guide handled any and all needs that may arise, as well as, impromptu requests to ensure a fantastic experience. As the person who usually has to plan, coordinate, and manage the trip, having this guided tour allowed me to relax and enjoy the experience without stress. I fully recommend this experience!! Our family travels internationally every year and this has been our favorite out of all the trips!Show moreTrip date: September 2022
- LRLauren· March 21st, 2024We had so much fun and saw so much on this tour! Our guides were amazing and we were able to have incredible and authentic experiences while interacting with locals. The food was amazing and so filling and healthy. We loved wandering the medinas and finding hidden gems like little shops and cozy restaurants recommended by MSI, our guides and people we met on the street. There is something for everyone in Morocco and the people are lovely and warm. The only downfall was I wish I had more time to see more!Show moreMorocco Social Impact Travels commented on this reviewDear Lauren, Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with us!
