I explored the country's rich history, diverse landscapes, and vibrant Islamic and Berber culture. The trip itinerary offered a good mix of cultural immersion in cities like Marrakech and Fes and breathtaking natural beauty in the Sahara Desert and the Atlas Mountains. One of my highlights was the camel ride through the Merzouga dunes and the chance to explore the ancient medina in Fes. My driver, Abdou, was truly exceptional. His infectious knowledge and passion for Morocco brought the history and culture to life. He was patient, always happy to answer questions, and attentive to my needs. The entire trip was well organized. Transportation between locations was seamless, and my accommodations in traditional riads were comfortable and charming. The meals, featuring a variety of Moroccan specialties, were healthy and delicious. The only aspect that could have been improved was meeting other travelers on the tour, as I was the only one. Meeting other travelers would have made the experience even more enjoyable.
