- ASusan· October 30th, 2024Our two-week tour started in Lisbon, went North to the Duoro valley, and ended in Bilbao, Spain. Along the way we toured a lot of lovely northern Portuguese and Spanish cities, sampled a number of wines, and were enchanted throughout by our fabulous tour guide, Sergio Palma, a native of Lisbon with perfect English. Accommodations were excellent for the most part, and all provided meals exceeded expectations. Our bus was roomy and fellow travelers were friendly and all got along. Loved the group we were with and learnt a whole lot about Portuguese food and Port Wine production. However, I encourage you to make your own air travel arrangement to & from, for your own comfort and routing, with meet & greet at the arrival airport.
