- AHApril· March 29th, 2025It’s a good tour for first time travelers to Egypt. The tour covers everything you need to do, from visiting the great pyramids to Luxor on the Nile cruise. Our guides are very knowledgeable about the history especially, Medhat, our guide on the Nile cruise who took us to many temples and tombs. The minus one star is for accommodation in Cairo and transport time. The hotel in Cairo which we stayed for 2 nights gave us a room without working air conditioning. We requested to change our room for the second night stay and unfortunately the air conditioning was not working either. When we returned from Hurghada to stay for one more night at the end of our tour, we just booked another hotel on our own expense. On the 7th day of our tour, we got picked up from the cruise to Hurghada to stay at the all inclusive resort for one night. The drive is about 4 hours long and the resort wasn’t that impressive. We had to wait for the room to be ready and again was giving a room without working air conditioning. We went back to the front desk to request a different room. When we finally settled in the room it was 2 hours after we arrived. The next day we had to check out by noon and our pick up for our flight back to Cairo was not till 6 pm. Asked for late check out and was denied and they also cut our wristbands so we couldn’t get anything from the restaurant or the bar. Overall it’s a good tour for first time travelers but personally I’d skip the Hurghada stay if I had known.Show more

Who made special effort to ensure we all knew when and where we had to meet and depart each day Excellent chief leader hari who negotiated well wuth the drivers on each day and the tour guide Obviously I had a generous extra discount because of a November Black Friday deal. For these prices I’m amazed there was only one other fellow traveller. Hotels and cruise ship accommodation were excellent , with no single person supplement, Meals provided especially at hurghada Was exceptional as it also included free alcoholic drinks and generous buffet choice wt every meal. Before we even landed at Cairo Airport, Mr. Ahmed Mostafa and Mr. Ali Mohamed Hassan reached out to inform us of how we could meet Ali at the airport. Upon arrival, we easily found Mr. Ali, who, along with his colleague, drove us to our hotel and assisted with check-in. Our first day in Cairo was guided by Mr. Abdou Othman. He took us to see the Great Pyramid, accompanied us for lunch, and gave us an insightful tour of the Egyptian Museum. His excellent English, paired with his extensive and profound knowledge of Egypt’s history, culture, and much more, made the experience unforgettable. Over the next several days, Mr. Medhat Labeeb led us on tours to various sites. His expertise, enthusiasm, and genuine love for Egypt’s rich history truly stood out. He brought the ancient sites to life with fascinating stories that deepened our appreciation for Egypt’s culture. In short, every tour guide we encountered—Mr. Ahmed Mostafa, Mr. Ali Mohamed Hassan, Mr. Abdou Othman, and Mr. Medhat Labeeb—was professional, experienced, and passionate.
