- CLChristopher· October 31st, 2024Overall we had a fascinating experience of Moroccan life in various cities and the Saharan desert, which was exceptional, in a super luxury tent. The other highlight was Chefchouen, the Blue City - a cool "hill station". In the riads (charming old style hotels) be prepared for climbing many steps and facing Moroccan style bathrooms! Unfortunately, although we had booked a small group tour, we were alone with a driver with limited English and a tired old land cruiser, which made the long drives each day a bit boring and uncomfortable. However, all the people we met were very friendly, honest and helpful, so the overall experience was good. Last advice take cash - almost no credit cards accepted, and the main languages are French and Arabic. English tends to be basic..Show more
