The tour itself was good. The staff were amazing and did everything they could to ensure your enjoyment. The rooms were a decent size, bigger than some larger cruise ships. Food was good. Lots of it and they cook would try to accommodate any special need. We met the nicest couple from England, and thankfully we did because we were the only 4 English speaking people on the boat. There were some bilingual folks (other than crew) but they were there with French speaking guests. While generally the staff did everything they could to accommodate us - it felt like an accommodation and many of the French guest started to resent it. On tours the guide would explain something in French for 10 minutes and then in English would give us one line. Also we got into a verbal fight with one French guest who basically told us “English go home”. So my advice to Corsi is, if you are a French passenger cruise, then be that. Don’t try to accommodate. Advertise clearly that all programming is in French. Or if you want to attract English speaking guests as well, then advertise more in Canada, England, USA. You’ll get more travellers and the passengers will be more balanced. Overall it was good. Staff were great. Balance between French and English wasn’t good.

The meals on board were very good and only a few were exceptional… Unless you signed up for the optional excursions, there was not much to do when the ship was docked along the shores - Having said that, the excursions were very informative and fun! But be prepared to budget for them. The crew/staff were exceptional and the boat was beautiful and spotless!

Excellent tour. The ship was very good as well as the crew. We were the only Americans on board and everything was translated for us. The food and wines were very nice. The tours and the guides were very informative.. Tourradar made it very easy with the help of Felipe and Nina.

I was warned that Croisi was a “budget” cruise company, but I was pleasantly surprised by what they delivered. The cabins were well appointed with luggage storage under bed. Cabins were well attended to daily. I have dietary requirements which were met, providing delicious and appealing meals at every sitting. Coffee on board was excellent! The excursions were interesting and, even though we were a small group of 6 English speakers, we were well-catered for at all times. Well done Croisi and thank you.

Highly recommend Avalon Waterways to deliver a fabulous cruise experience. We travelled on two boats due to water levels on the Rhine. The transfer and replacement bus trip between boats was arranged seamlessly. Avalon very generously refunded a days’ cruising $ amount as well as provided us with “lunch money” - they were proactive, organised and professional. My dietary needs were met beyond any level I had previously experienced. My meals were delicious and resembled what the general population received. Thank you Tibor and your team for being absolutely fabulous.

The river cruise was very relaxing and enjoyable. There was a diverse group of people, including Australians, Americans, Brits, Belgians and French. Cabins were spacious and comfortable. Meals were excellent...... 3-4 courses, wines included. Breakfasts were average but lunches and dinners more than made up fir this. Staff service was excellent. The route was as stated. Do a tour if you go to Paulliac..... nothing to see or do in the town. Other stops were great. I only did one tour...... it felt rushed with not enough free time. Croisie tried to ensure coaches were organised around languages as the dual translation (French and English) can be very tedious! In summary......the cruise exceeded my expectations. The company is very experienced and everything was well organised with staff doing whatever it took to meet requests. It’s not a “luxury 5 star” experience but it was very enjoyable.
