The challenges were that many times throughout the tour, we got to the hotel late (9:00 PM or after), had not eaten, did not have water, and had to meet in the lobby the next day at 6:30 or 7:00 or 7:30 AM. This is hard if it is just adults, but with kids, it is even harder. We were traveling with an 11 year old and a 13 year old. Trying to have them go to bed hungry was not great. One of the hotels, the one in Paris, the restaurant was closed for remodeling, and there was no vending machine, and the only place to get water was a mini market up the street, that had already closed by the time we got there. The tour guides should have a case of water for each evening, to give each person one as they exit the bus. Additionally, I think the agenda should be revised to avoid the combination of a late arrival at the hotel, and an early departure the next morning. It was just too much. We enjoyed what we did see, but could have used more rest, downtime, and opportunities to eat/drink water. The tour guides and drivers were all friendly and fantastic. We always felt safe and taken care of. There was always someone there to meet us when they were supposed to be there.Show more
