- GMGloria· November 6th, 2023On our 9 day trip we have 4 different leaders. The first group was Hispanic and the tour guide spent most of her time speaking Spanish and not translating it to English. As the week went on there were fewer English speaking travelers and more Spanish and less English translations. When we stopped and got off the bus the tour director got off and started walking, not waiting for people to get off the bus. There were 60 people in the tour and she was often a block away. It was hard spotting her our when other tours were mixing in. Most of the tour leaders did not have flags to follow. One had a water bottle she occasionally held up, but she was quite short and it was hard to locate her. Each guide should have a flag. One night tour I followed the wrong group but, luckily, the bus was late and I rejoined my group. On prior tours (different company) there were schedules in the hotel lobby giving times to meet in the morning and an itinerary for the next day. We could capture it on our phones and knew what to expect. We did cover a lot of ground but this tour was chaos.Show more
